Carrie Prejean just couldn't bring herself to walk out on Larry King on Wednesday, despite repeated warnings that she would flee if he continued his "inappropriate" line of questioning. The former Miss California USA started to leave 'Larry King Live' but just kept sitting there after taking off her mic. Watch the Video After the Jump
There to promote a book, King asked Prejean (who was in a different CNN studio) why she settled her lawsuit with pageant officials last week at the same time a solo sex video (starring her) came to light. King made it clear he didn't want to know the terms of the settlement, just why she did it.
"Larry, [the terms are] completely confidential, and you're being inappropriate, K?" she scolded.
At that, the host renamed the show 'Inappropriate King Live' and took a call from Detroit. The man on the line asked Prejean for advice on how his gay friends could go about getting married. But as the man was asking his admittedly confrontational question, Prejean removed her mic and sat at the table as King tried to talk to her.
"Is she leaving because I asked about the settlement?" he asked.
Prejean stayed seated in the studio and pretended not to hear the host. "I can't hear you!"
"I think that you are being extremely inappropriate right now, and I'm about to leave your show," she said.
King explained that he had abandoned the line of questioning about the pageant settlement after she objected. "I didn't mean to be inappropriate, but you need to have a mic," he told her. But she wasn't listening or talking to King any more, she had begun speaking to someone off-camera. "Who are you talking to?" King asked.
After a commercial break, Prejean was again wearing the microphone and explained to King that was ignoring him because she hadn't agreed to take any calls from viewers.
Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has called her solo sex tape, made when she was a teenager, "the worst mistake of my life." She added: "I was all by myself. I was sending my boyfriend at the time, who I loved and cared about, a video of me."

For all those our there who are calling self-righteousness and hypocracy because she took semi nude photos and sent a naughty video to her boyfriend....I have news for you....conservative woman aren't nuns. In fact, our men are happier because we don't feel oppressed by being feminine. We don't feel the need to immasculate men. I haven't heard anything disparaging about this woman yet. It's just liberals who can't tolerate those with views that differ from theirs. She has always been very polite in expressing her views and hasn't taken any cheap shots at anyone. It's a shame that Larry King didn't have a backup to take over, when she removed the microphone, so they could have just escorted her away and let someone else do an interview that would be somewhat interesting!
She went on the show as publicity for that trashy book she supposedly wrote. Who would buy it??? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see through this woman with a pretty face but a lousy personality. She had her 15 minutes of fame...move on to somebody more interesting and someone with real depth.
