Footage used in Sean Hannity's report on last week's anti-health care reform rally conjures a famous song lyric: "All the leaves are brown." The FOX News host was caught beefing up the attendance at the Nov. 6 event by showing clips from the much-much-larger Tea Party rally in September, when the trees bordering the Mall in Washington were flush with live leaves.Jon Stewart and his 'Daily Show' writers found this oddity and proceeded to mock the No. 1 news network for the mistake. Hannity, for his part, admitted to the screw-up and apologized. Watch Stewart's report, then the apology:

Jon doesn't need help finding material, but they do anyway...

It wasn't an "inadvertent" mistake. The footage was obviously, deliberately doctored to make it look like it was the health care rally, i.e., the flags and signs are different. This was a deliberate attempt to make it look like more people supported the position than do.

There was enough people at the Washington event to go home to Virginia and New Jersey and vote out the Liberal Democrats! You'll see in 2010 how many of us there are!

Glen, republicans won two Govenors races, and lost the ones that gave them a vote in congress.
Govenors, do not vote in congress or the senate.
Hiring people to stand at tv rallys does not guarantee votes.
Poor, misguided Glen writes that, "There was enough people at the Washington event to go home to Virginia and New Jersey and vote out the Liberal Democrats!"
Poor, misguided Glen's ignorance of American english aside, his delusion about the number of idiots attending that fake "news conference" in Washington is indicative of (which means, Glen, that it indicates) the inability to execute even the most simple arithmatic process.
Glenny Baby, there WERE only a handfull, a smattering, an insignificant number of your fellow poor, misguided right-wingyding knuckle-draggers in attendance at that non-event. So here's the bottom line: NONE OF YOUR IMAGINARY FRIENDS CAN VOTE. Do ya get it now?
giggle!! sure we'll see! giggle!!!
What can I say,,, oh how about MISTAKE MY A** !!!

The Daily Show always finds these things. It goes both ways too. Not that long ago they showed an Obama and George W. speech side be side and they where strangely the same. Nothing gets past The Daily Show. I bet if not for The Daily Show no one from Fox would have admitted this. Now was that during the "news" part of the Fox news day day or the "entertainment" (Beck and the like) part? Fox did say in a recent statment they only have news a small part of the day and Beck isn't news he's entertainment (there words not mine).

I love that Sean Hannity didn't mention that Jon ALSO pointed out he verbally inflated the attendance to as much as 40,000. The fact he said that is strong evidence that he knew the clip was doctored, because he was essentially narrating it.
Hannity is a brilliant man. The problem is he knows that - and he knows his fans are morons.

So typical of Republicans...misleading, misrepresenting and outright lying to distort facts. It is amazing that there is one left, much less 19% of the population. A sad statement for America.

I find it funny that onumbnuts can say, slow down don't jump to conclusions the killer in the Fort Hood masacre isn't a terrorist. Then what is he? He killed American soldiers on American soil. Is he a peacnick? Is he onumbuts brother? Of course he is he's Muslim.
This was no mistake, Hannity and his crew are full of it. Fox News is a dangerous entity that has no problem being dishonest to further their agenda. BEWARE AMERICA!

LOL Hell yeah.
I had a good laugh when they accused Al-Jazeerah of inserting propaganda into its coverage of Operation Iraqi Freebies For Halliburton. Can you say: "Pot...kettle" boys and girls?
Hannity has a hustroy of doing that with Pee Parties....He makes 200 into 2,000 all the time.

Isn't it funny how Hannity's retraction was deleted due to "terms of use violation". Perhaps, having to see himself eat crow repeatedly violated his use of the term "news".

Oh I find it strange that the Fox video portion of the post has been removed....I wonder why
