Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane Confirm Pregnancy

Though a suspicious baby bump has been discussed in the media for months, Rebecca Gayheart and her husband Eric Dane have just now confirmed a pregnancy.

Gayheart told In Touch Weekly, "We've always wanted to be parents. I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I'll be a good mom. We're absolutely looking forward to it!"

Gayheart, 38, added that she's taking good care of herself in anticipation of her first child. "I'm doing yoga, and I'm walking on the beach every day with my dogs for about an hour. I drink lots of water and eat a lot of vegetables and protein."

Gayheart made a name for herself in the '90s as the spokesperson for Noxema, and later starred in series 'Dead Like Me' and 'Nip/Tuck.' Dane plays Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan on 'Grey's Anantomy.' The couple married in 2004.

Gayheart and Dane were recently involved in a lawsuit concerning a leaked tape that showed the couple in an intimate encounter with another woman. In the video, Dane and his wife appear nude with former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche. During the video, Dane steps in front of and behind the camera, while filming in Peniche's apartment. Dane and Gayheart took Gawker.com to court, claiming the site unlawfully posted the private video.

Still, impending motherhood has redeemed the past few months for Gayheart. "I'm having a great, great time right now and loving my life," she said.

What I want to know is where was the little 9 year old boys' mom???????? Dad??????? I raised four kids and my 9 year old kids weren't EVER in the position to run out in traffic, so I wonder why no one sees that as a problem? Sure, she was careless, and it caused a horrible tragedy, but you have to lay blame fairly. It was partially her fault for being in such a hurry, so impatient, but aren't we all that way sometimes, especially while driving?? I would hate to be all of you people up on that high horse of yours judging people. That's for God, not you. Get a grip.

AMEN!!! All those who lay blame on Rebecca's shoulders and hers only STFU. This boy's parents are also to blame. I will not blame the child because he was a child and it was his parents responisibility to TEACH HIM THE WAYS OF WALKIN IN THE ROAD! Yes she was neglectful but she did NOT murder that little boy. Get a grip!

I wish them both the best of luck. Eric is a BEAUTIFUL man and Rebecca is a BEAUTIFUL woman that child will be gorgeous.
