Jon Gosselin Sues TLC for $5 Million

'Jon & Kate Plus 8' star Jon Gosselin has filed a $5 million lawsuit against TLC, the network that produces the show, PEOPLE reports.

Gosselin believes TLC has damaged his reputation and is preventing him from finding work elsewhere, according to PEOPLE.

"Their behavior has caused Jon great anguish and it has caused him financial losses," his attorney Mark Heller says.

Heller claims that Gosselin did not have a lawyer present when he signed the contract with the network for the show. "They had a cadre of lawyers so they had a one-sided agreement," he explains.

TLC has also sued the father of eight for breach of contract.

Are these people ever going to go away?they don't want to be in the public eye,but it happens every day,and they are always smiling.i ithink they are afraid people are going to forget about them,and neither jon or wacky kate is going to let that happen. just look at all the talk shows they are doing.TLC is insane for wanting (any of them)on a show.i hope they go away soon let them deal with there own problems we don't need to know or care about any of them.

I think he is doing quite well if his job is acting like a media-manipulating idiot who believes the world owes him a living somehow for being a nothing.

He, Joe Jackson, Carrie Prejean, Michael Lohan, Heather Mills, and that Levi Johnston fool (forgive me if I've left anyone out, but you all get my drift about the worthless baggage of this world who need to be thrown into a volcano) would make a good team!

What a loser !! He made himself look bad by being a total ass in public. There is no way he should get anything for this lawsuit, and if he does, what a sad day that would be. 5 million dollars !! Who does he think he is? He can't find work LMAO...he's probably talking about his endeavors to make another reality show, or pursuit of an acting career, for which he has absolutely no talent !! Please, give me a break...I'm so sick of hearing both of them whine about how TLC screwed them over. I sincerely hope TLC wins their breach of contract suit against him, and he doesn't get a dime. Neither he nor Kate are "celebrities", as they so ridiculously claim. I hope they disappear after all this is over, give someone else a chance in the spotlight who isn't in it for the money, although people like that are hard to find, they would at least be more interesting than these two bumps on a log.

In answer to your question Teresa, yes he had a job but Kate wanted him home more so she could run around with her so called bodyguard everywhere and he quit to stay home with his kids. Too bad Kate didn't do the same.
