Photos: Why So Serious, Kristen Stewart?

Why is Kristen Stewart so melancholy in pictures? She has a guaranteed hit movie coming out next week, is supposedly dating hottie Robert Pattinson and tween girls (and their moms) around the country want to be her. Because Kristen has been splashed on the cover of every major magazine in the past few months we have become nonplussed by the fact that Ms. Stewart rarely smiles. In fact, she always has quite the puss on her face.

We take a look at Kristen's sour pucker after the jump.

"That's her sexy brooding look which totally works for her. Not everyone can pull it off...but she can," says beauty expert Mally Roncal.

We understand that Kristen's 'Twilight' character Bella is a moody teenager so maybe it is just a method acting thing.

"KStew has perfected the 'Life is PAIN' scowl! Career success, financial security, an amazing boyfriend, a loving family...yeah, we really feel for you, Kristen! Considering she's frowning 24/7, she'll need Botox before she can even rent a car," says beauty expert and author of 'Beauty Confidential' Nadine Jolie.

Your instructions say to "keep it classy", which you do not. Miss Stewart's expression demonstrate poise, intellect, and caution--for which I applaud her considering the tremendous pressure she endures under the "machine".

Why don't you print all of Kristens pics where she's smiling,I've seen plenty and maybe she just doesn't feel like smiling all the time,I know I don't.

She always looks unhappy or brooding or thinking. She never gives off a soft look. I'm sure she has a side, but she seems like a dark and brooding person most of the pictures. She should smile alot considering she is famous with money and a name.
PS. AOL says keep it classy, yet there are hundreds of bad post and ads all over there boards. Clean up the need a man ad's.

There are smiling pictures in this appearance, but the cast overall looks a little tired, as anyone would if they had their schedule and privacy issues. StewPat should do a Johnny Depp and buy their own island, to where they could retreat between pictures. There seemingly hasn't been much down time between Twilight and New Moon.

I can see that Kristen dont smile much and her behavior . It seem to me she is on depression, I really dont know what make her unhappy person.. I just guess shes depression. Im not here shes totally depression and Im here to just said sound like (seem like) to me that she is on depression. Soo.. I hope shes okay and be calm and be strong.. Thats all I have say for now..

In a couple of the photos, it appears that Robert has his hand around Kristen and it almost looks like he is getting a feel of her right breast?

I have nothing to say about Kristen Steward, since I don't know who that is. But I think New Moon and Twilight Saga are just stupid movies that I would never watch.

When she smiles (and her hair doesn't look like a bird's nest) she looks pretty. I hate that mouth breathing look she has (where her mouth is slightly open) I don't know if that is natural to her or she does it to try to look sexy, but it just makes her look like she has down syndrome or something.

Some people are just inseecure about the way their smile looks. Lokking through the pictures I would have to say I think she is prettier with light brown/Blonde hair.

when you're every waking moment is constantly on camera, you're not going to be smiling all the time because that's not normal for anyone. She has also said that crowds make her nervous, and most pictures are taken at a crowded event for the film. if she was smiling all the time, you'd say she was fake and putting on "an act for the cameras". P.S. why not show the pictures where she IS smiling? there are thousands out there, you just choose to post the "scowling" pictures.

Reminds me of my high school yearbook photograph. Photographer tried everything to het me to crack a smile without success. Got up and started to leave and broke up laughing. Why? I thought his efforts were to get me to smile were that funny.

Wow, I'm not a fan of the Twilight series, but I was flipping through those pictures and she used to be so simply pretty. Not that she isn't pretty now, but she was so beautiful in such a simple way a few years ago.

I have seen beautiful women who do not smile, but when they smile, they are not too attractive. Not that they have crooked teeth or something like that, but it is the way they smile, making it less attractive, in my opinion.
