Count Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer as someone who has been caught up in Robert Pattinson fever. "He smells great," laughs Meyer after Oprah Winfrey asked her about Pattinson. "He's not at all like the Edward character."

He stiffed my friend working as a waiter and was rude the entire meal to boot! May have been an oversight..then again, maybe not. I hate to judge a man's character on something someone else said but I trust this guys opinion. Just sayin'

He's so nice. Im from L.A recently moved here and I was super lost with no one helping to give me directions and my phone died out on me.[HORRIBLE DAY] He let me call my boss on his phone so I could explain to her where I was so someone could get me.

I'm not sure that the younger Twilight fans' parents realize just what Stephenie Meyer has managed to do for young people. Stephenie is a devout Mormon and ascribes to the highest ideals of human behavior. In her books, she adheres to her ideals while encapsulating them in a wonderously romantic and exciting story. Understandably movie makers and their distributors want to make a huge profit, so their advertisements stress sex appeal and sexual inuendos. Sex is fascinating to younger people, and they will never be disappointed in this series of books or movies, BUT the overwhelming emphasis is on Stephenie's and so many of our own ideals. Edward has morals and ideals and he lives up to them, while guiding the young and inexperienced Bella to the awareness that true love is moral. What a victory for everything positive that we can all enjoy!

I find it interesting that, your being members of a media that generally rejoices in creativity and self expression does not somehow protect you from bias and prejudice. Obviously you are a victim of prejudice against members of a certain age group. I'll move on.
