Model Adriana Lima Has Baby Girl

Victoria's newest secret: model Adriana Lima and her NBA star husband have welcomed a baby girl to their family. Lima and Marko Jaric became first-time parents on Sunday in New York City. "Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric," a rep for Lima tells PEOPLE. "Mother, father and baby are all doing well."

The Brazilian model, who famously declared her intention to remain a virgin until marriage, started dating Jaric in 2006. The pair were engaged in 2008, on Lima's 27th birthday. Lima and Jaric, 31, were married this year in a small, private ceremony in Wyoming.

Upon learning they were expecting a child, Lima told PEOPLE, "We are so excited! We wanted this. We were ready."

"Even in my wildest days I knew that I wanted to be the ultimate family man," Jaric added. "We're ready to settle down."

i don't know if i believe that she waited untill marriage for sex, because unless she got pregnant right on there honeymoon i think the dates are too close. 02/14/09 and 11/15/09 it is exactly nine months apart. It could happen but, i dont know. I glad the baby is healthy.

Jacqueline, I feel the same way. A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks, so unless her baby came early, I doubt she waited for marriage too. Either way, I hope she meant what she said and I'm glad she's happy.
