The pair -- who are both black -- has been left off the promotional photo in the U.K., while the rest of the white actors remain.
According to The Daily Mail, Universal -- the studio behind the film -- claims they wanted to "simplify" the posters for the English audience. However, they apologized for offending anyone.

Too many people use these AOL forums to spout their racist view and provoke others to respond. Do yourselves a favor and ignore them. These people are not worth your time or energy. In fact, this topic is a waste of time and energy. Who cares if they didn't make it to the British poster. They're still in the movie.

YOU ARE RIGHT 100%! Subject is closed!
So What. Did all the models get paid? Where is it written that every photo needs a quota of blacks?

Europeans criticize Americans for racism when they have a far worse problem there. In France all the good jobs go to white French even the unqualified ones and Britian is no better which explains the removal of black actors from the poster. So next time a Brit or a French calls you a racist make sure you ask them why things are they way their are in their OWN country!

Blacks dont go to movies.. so who cares?

what?
How do you know? That was ignorant to say.Maybe where you go to the movies there no black people around whereever you live ,period! Depends on where you live. That was so stupid to say!
I'm a Brit, and I have to agree with nik and ThisIsNuts!. I only thought "rascism" when I saw the American poster.
I can imagine the US Ad agency where thinking "Diversity" when they came up with the original design. The UK Ad Agency where only thinking "Movie-Poster" without a thought to skin colour(how it should be?)
It just makes you wonder if the Black actors were only cast because of the colour of their skin.

Well talk about a 'storm in a teacup'. As a British person with British values... I think that the poster is better presented, and also most Brit's could not care less if the poster included or excluded Black people. Another thing to consider is that the actors that are excluded from the poster are little known here, so I say 'not everything has racial undertones' I don't even think that this story is news worthy.

I believe this is all a publicity stunt....Seriously. It is working! :)

Ok so they were left off who cares anyway???
If this was a black movie without any white people do you think the white folk would care??
The only people that care are the loser's.
Get a life anyway, but it seems that l have been seeing a lot more Latino's in ad's that is causing a trend.

I'm from Britain, I'm usually furious at stuff like this - but I must admit I've heard of all the actors apart from the black ones.
Did nobody consider that they might have been cut from the poster because nobody in the UK will have a clue who they are?

Doesn't matter who is on the poster, the movie will "bomb" over there just like it did here and then everyone will be fighting to have their images taken off of the poster. I'm sure Jean Reno is thrilled to pieces his picture is not there.

okay the simplification was totally unnecessary who ever was in charge of the redesign and who ever approved it should be reprimanded
