Andrew Lloyd Webber Rushed Back to Hospital

After undergoing surgery for prostate cancer -- which he was diagnosed with in late October,
Andrew Lloyd Webber is back in the hospital due to an infection,
The Daily Mail reports.
According to the Mail, the composer will remain hospitalized for two to three days while receiving treatment.
"Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation for prostate cancer," a statement on his Web site reads.
"He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative "chronic infection" which needs immediate treatment," the statement continues.
A friend of the 61-year-old says Webber is upset with the turn of events. "Andrew is fed up and just wants to be back at home, but it is not too serious."

Not a chronic infection but one you will get 98% of the time if you are in the hsopital..the filthiest places you can be stuck in. Staff infections run rampant..why do you think they give you antibiotics anytime you have surgery?
A nurse who avoids hospitals at all costs

Wow! A nurse who can't spell "staph" infection?!
Glo, hopefully u r not nursing anymore - you can't even spell "staph" and "hospital"!
Good grief! Not a chance that you are a nurse. 98%? Where did you get that number? And "staff" infection? You embarrass those of us who really are licensed nurses.
Maybe she indeed meant that the entire staff gets infected. :) Give her the benefit of the doubt.
Chicagobombico- THE JACKSONS R AWSOME!!!!!! AND THIS ARTICLE ISN'T EVEN ABOUT THEM, best wishes to Mr. Webber

I wish him a speedy recovery. Those chronic infections can be terrible. My mother suffered off and on for several years with a chronic infection after a surgery. I hope he does not suffer the same fate but instead heals much faster.
