Let's see... the headline reads : "Rushed" to the hospital.
Yet, in the copy, she "checked" herself in.
Hey, AOL producers and writers! Do you know the difference between "Rushed in" and "Checked in?"
You people are some of the biggest liars, plagiarizers, exaggerators and, quite frankly, worst writers I've ever seen ... or even heard of. Anything to capture the reader, huh?
I wouldn't let any of you work as a janitor in my shop.
Well, I guess I'd better RUSH off!

You're very kind to refer to them as "writers" in any context!
Don't you mean you are CHECKING OUT.
Anyway, I think the word here is sensationalism. Most of the things reported are lies, expecially stuff the government tells you (weapons of mass destruction) sound familiar. So many lives lost on lies....
that is soooo funny i agree
I keep posting, but it never shows up...so...
Anytime anyone is admitted to the hospital, whether "rushed" or by ambulance or strolling in on their own, they are "checked" in. This does not say she checked herself in, just that she was checked in. That could have been a rush. I agree that often headlines do not match the article, but here that isn't necessarily so. People tend to underestimate pneumonia. I am glad Susan got well with antibiotics. I hope Nicole does too. My husband, who was taking antibiotics, died from pneumonia in his 40s.
Oh...puhleaze!!! Semantics okay? Who cares and WHO reads this stuff anyway??????
fans lmao why would this thing have fans ????

Get well Nicole......
Isn't it something that she was hospitalized with a "touch" of pneumonia. I had double pneumonia and got antibiotics to take at home...gee, it's a good thing there's no difference between the rich and us regular folks, huh?

Funny, wasn't Eminem hospitalized with a touch of pneumonia a year or two ago? Wonder how long before she checks into rehab.

I think Nicole has done a wonderful job of turning her life around. Motherhood tends to do that. I am sure she is down playing the degree of pneumonia so the media will not have her on her death bed.
She is so tiny, coupled with the fact that her baby is not that old, tells me her body probably couldn't fight the pneumonia with antibiotics by mouth only. She is probably getting regular breathing treatments along with IV antibiotics.
Everyone is different. It doesn't have to do with the amount of money you have. We all handle pneumonia dfferently, just as the woman said that lost her husband when he was 40 years old. BTW condolences to you.
When I had my first child I had pneumonia. I literally coughed myself into labor. The minute he was born my Dr. started pushing the antibiotics. I stayed in the hospital a lot longer than normal.
Hoping Nicole a speedy recovery.

Geeze, money does buy everything!! I am poor, so when they found out I have breast cancer, they give me a double mastectomy, send me out the door and home less than 12 hours later, She has a "touch of Pneumonia" and gets admitted... sad. Just wait until we get "social medicine" if you think it is bad now....Good luck even getting a mammo if you are poor... (it got me before my 40th B day!! Now they want us to wait until we are 50?)
