Martha Stewart Disses Rachael Ray's Cooking
When it comes to cooking,
Martha Stewart says
Rachael Ray doesn't hold a candle to her.
In an interview with ABC's Cynthia McFadden, Stewart criticizes Ray's abilities, saying that she is "not good enough for me,"
The New York Daily News reports.
"She's more of an entertainer than she is, with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me. That's not what she's professing to be," Stewart explains in the 'Nightline' segment.
But Ray isn't upset with Stewart's remarks.
"Why would it make me mad? Her skill set is far beyond mine. That's simply the reality of it. That doesn't mean what I do isn't important, too ... I don't consider it needling. I really just think she's being honest," she tells ABC.
Referring to their food, Ray adds, "I'd rather eat Martha's than mine, too."

The only meals that should be prepared in 30 minutes are breakfast and lunch. If my mom gave me a thirty minute meal for dinner, I would throw it at her.
Took the words out of my mouth-I'm sure Martha picked up plenty of useful cooking tips in the pen....

Unfortunately, Rachael Ray isn't enlightened...nor does she have a clue about health. I cannot watch her show anymore, b/c the few times I have, I was sadly disappointed. She discusses "canned tomatoes..." REALLY?
Canned vegetables? And meat, meat, meat. She's very "middle america.." Fun, but not healthy, not enlightened and certainly not interesting. Sad.
Who do she think she is in dishing Rachael cooking skills.Rachael is very gifted in her skills,in help people who lives on a budget. Martha care's for know one but self.

I find martha hard to follow. She does more of the entraining a party or more holiday stuff, were as Ray is a more down to what can be easy that you are not spending forever in the Kitchen. I love simple and easy cooking then something that would take me half a day to do.

Again another example of ML extremely RUDE behavior and over the top self-centered behavior. Anyone who has watched her show ever, gets examples of it..Its all about her and her products etc etc!!!

News flash for you Martha; most of us would like to enjoy what we are eating, not be afraid to touch it. It's this "I'm better than you attitude" that got Martha Stewart into trouble in the first place. Another news flash for you Martha; "YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ANYBODY" AND YOU DON'T HOLD A CANDLE TO RACHEL RAY.

Martha is a professional. Many chefs have issues with what/how Racheal Ray cooks. She is great for people with busy lives, but, her recipes are blah.
MArtha, on the other hand, uses high end ingredients that are hard to find for your average person. Both women have a niche that they fill. What's the big deal?

I think the big deal, as you put it, is that one of these women has humility and humor, and the other has a snob attitude and a prison record.
Where does this hasbeen hosbag get off? She has been to prison,she shoves her products down your throat when you watch her show,and her recipes are just plain nasty and too damn expensive to make. I will run out and get some truffles imported from France and some cheese no one has ever heard of just to make one nasty dish. I prefer Rachel Ray she is REAL uses real food is a REAL person witha Real personality. MS is a jealous troll for even saying anything about anyone.

Where does martha think she can cook better than Rachel. Rachel was raised in a kitchen and martha was raised God knows where. Why can't she get along with anyone? Guess jail didn't do much for her, you would think it would have given her a little humility. NOT! Martha, shut up!

My friend was a neighbor of Martha's in Nutley from before she was married...said she was always a snob, but more so after she started writing her books. I agree, Rachel is more REAL for us average folks. And I often cook great meals in 30 min. that no one would throw back in my face. Seafood, veal, a steak, veggies, a nice salad don't take long at all. Not everything needs to be nor should be cooked for hours.
I think under a rock is what you were looking for when describing where Martha was raised. ;-)
