Martha Stewart Disses Rachael Ray's Cooking

When it comes to cooking,
Martha Stewart says
Rachael Ray doesn't hold a candle to her.
In an interview with ABC's Cynthia McFadden, Stewart criticizes Ray's abilities, saying that she is "not good enough for me,"
The New York Daily News reports.
"She's more of an entertainer than she is, with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me. That's not what she's professing to be," Stewart explains in the 'Nightline' segment.
But Ray isn't upset with Stewart's remarks.
"Why would it make me mad? Her skill set is far beyond mine. That's simply the reality of it. That doesn't mean what I do isn't important, too ... I don't consider it needling. I really just think she's being honest," she tells ABC.
Referring to their food, Ray adds, "I'd rather eat Martha's than mine, too."

anyone who knows anything about cooking, knows rachael ray is a terrible cook, her food is awful! Martha on the other hand has never done me wrong.

Rachael makes more every day food with more ordinary ingredients that I am more likely to have on hand. Much more relevant to my life. Besides, listening to Martha Stewart is about as attention capturing as watching paint dry.

It is a shame that once again Martha Stewart has to put down someone with a cheap shot like that. Like there isn't enough room on the airwaves for a couple of cooking shows. Martha has even put down her audience for not understanding her recipes correctly. What is wrong with someone trying to make a name for herself and an honest living? Does it make you feel good Martha to put down a lady with your snide remarks? Shame on you and hopefully you can learn to grow old gracefully and while your at it, please do us all a favor and purchase the book, " Miss Manners "!

Yes giving your opinion and having an opinion is what America is all about, but haven't you heard of tack? Martha could have nicely stated that her style of cooking differs from Rachel Rays. Rachel Ray is Italian and Cajen decent and she cooks as such. She loves the spicy food which is popular now. There are many people in the world that has to put down someone to make their self feel good, maybe to her empire earnings is down, ratings, aging appearence, etc. Just grow old gracefully Martha and please just go away!

Martha Stewart is a nasty untalented pig, she does not have the right to talk about anyone. Ive seen he cook and it is terrible. She also leaves out ingredients from her receipes. Rachel is very down to earth. and at least rachel didnt go to prison for a crime like Martha did.

I spoke w/ Martha, live, on her radio show. I asked if she'd do a segment on color-blind people = how we can decorate, dress, etc.
Martha was ridiculously rude to me. She mocked my colorblindness & said I could wear black & white clothes!
I feel sorry for her - she needs to berate everyone to make herself feel better than.
