Investigation Into Michael Jackson's Doctor to Continue Through 2010

Investigators want to be thorough before deciding whether or not to arrest
Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of
Michael Jackson,
PEOPLE reports.
"A decision (on whether to prosecute) will be made in 2010. It is not going to be made this year," LAPD Commander Patrick Gannon says.
Jackson died on June 25 of this year, and his death was rule a homicide after the coroner found lethal amounts of Propofol, a powerful sedative, in the King of Pop's system.
Murray had been administering the drug to Jackson to help him sleep, and admitted to giving it to him the night before he died.

It really doesn't make any difference how many other physicians gave MJ drugs they should not have. Dr Murray administered the fatal prescriptions and should be held accountable. And if you think this Dr is not going to skip town, you're nuts.. he's mapping out a plan now. We all want him to be held accountable and convicted and by all means, collect all the rock solid evidence and do not leave any loopholes for the attorneys to find, okay. You can pursue the other physicians inappropriate practice at a later time, if you wait to obtain all that data, 8-9 years could pass from the way it sounds. Prioritization is necessary. I just hope you have the right people watching Murray's accounts and travel plans, and I do mean 24/7 I expect he would bolt in the middle of the nite.

Don't hold Michael accountable for any of it? Give me a break, even his family knew he was a drug addict.

I AGREE. I WORK IN MEDICAL. THIS IS THE WAY LAW GOES
A-DR.M IS NOT QUALIFIED TO ADMINSTER THAT KIND OF DRUG TO ANYONE.
B-HE WAS PAID WELL TO DO HIS JOB BY MJ. IF HE ADMINISTER
3 NEW DRUGS TO HELP MJ ASLEEP THAT DAY HIS SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH MJ THAT NIGHT INSTEAD OF LEAVING HIM FOR 47 MINUTES. "NEGLIGENCE".
THAT'S WHY MALPRACTICE IS TO PROTECT DRS WHEN THERE IS "NEGLIGENCE" BUT DR.M SHOULD PAY MORE HE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO ADMINISTER THAT KIND OF DRUG. HE MUST PAY FOR WHAT HE DID TO MJ OR TO ANYONE. MUST NOT GET AWAY. HE MAY LEAVE COUNTRY OVERNIGHT. MJ GAVE HIM ENOUGH TO WORK WITH HIM.

I just don't understand what the problem is. It doesn't take a genius to put 2+2 together. Dr. Murray admitted to administering the fatal dose of propofol. Why on earth is this taking so long?

To Debbie,
I understand my sister. However the longer they dig, more snails will get snared. Allow the authorities to investigate. The truth will shine if it takes a hundred years. Let them dig to China ,like they were digging when they wanted to virtually place a noose around King Michael's neck over lies. Let them dig paparazzi style. Let us pray we live to see the day King Michael's children grow up ,and resemble him and his family, in good health, well educated, and RICH AS HELL! Then they'll be in a position to admonish the world for the horrible treatment unfairly doled out to their iconic father and family. LOL!!! KING MICHAEL LIVES IN HIS FAN'S HEARTS FOREVER!!!!!!!

To junior,
Personally, big difference between taking narcotics to get high versus seeking relief from an ailment. Huge one. Janet has stated family attempted intervention, Michael understood done out of love. An attempt is all one can do. I presume you have never suffered an addiction (of any variety),or know someone who has. Doctors take an oath to heal sick not "treat" patients for money. When they are turned to, should be in business of wellness, not almighty dollar pursuit. Conrad Murray is a quack. Should be held accountable. For sake of all, MUST be!

Most of the posts show the sad trend of this country..refusing to accept any kind of accountabilty. Jackson was a drug addict long before this doctor came into the picture..even the family admits it. Yes he enabled him and should be punished for any laws violated but MJ was responsible for his own bad decisions and his early death.

Regardless of whether Michael was an addict or not does not forgive the doctor for giving him a fatal dose of drugs. The doctor is the one with the liscence and should have known better. You are an idiot if you think a doctor can do something wrong and then expect to be cleared because the patient was dependent on drugs, or demanding them. It does not work that way, so people like you need to shut up and let justice work its way around. No matter how long it takes, someone is going to pay.

The doctor should be in jail i agree with every body who thinks that he should have known better since he is a doctor and maybe Michael Jackson would still be alive if the doctor didnt give him that drug...
