Michael Jackson Glove Sells for $350,000

The most famous glove in the world also happens to be the most expensive. Michael Jackson's rhinestone-studded white accessory worn during the moonwalk seen 'round the world (at Motown's 25th anniversary special), was purchased by a Hong Kong businessman on Saturday for $350,000. Plus tax.
The glove was the highlight of an auction featuring other King of Pop items at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Pre-auction, the glove was expected to snag about $50,000.
Hoffman Ma, the winning bidder who will pay $420,000, including taxes and fees, called it a "fairly good discount."
The pop icon, who died June 25 at 50, had given the glove to Walter "Clyde" Orange, of the singing group the Commodores.
Other items to sell way above their base prices: a jacket he wore on his 'Bad' tour fetched $225,000 (estimate: $8,000). A fedora worn during the moonwalk sold for $22,000 (estimate: $2,000).

I wonder if they still have the glove from OJ's trial. If they do they should sell it on ebay and make Arnold use the money for California.

That is beyond stupid, spending that much on a glove. Yes, it's a collector's item. But how many people could be helped with that money? Just so you could have a glove that will sit in a display case, or even a safe? That's just sad.
That's almost as much as Jackson paid for McCaulay Culkin's BVD's.

Culkin and King Michael were friends. You are an insensitive DONKEY!
Was that pre or post wet dreams???
I can't even imagine where that glove has been! They should use the black light on it like they do on hotel bedspreads when they do undercover reports.
Every time Caulkin's dad would drop him off for a "sleepover" he'd remind Michael to 'make sure you're wearing a glove"!! Of course Jacko was clueless...
BURN IT !!!!!!!!
