Taylor Swift tied Michael Jackson with the most wins at the 2009 American Music Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night, capping off a total of four wins with the biggest honor of the night, Artist of the Year.Michael Jackson, Eminem, Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon were also nominated for the award.
In her acceptance speech, transmitted live from London where she was rehearsing for a performance Monday night, Swift paid tribute to Michael Jackson and thanked his family, particularly sister Janet Jackson, for their support.

Michael Jackson wasn't a child molester. In the first case, the police did a full investigation of the allegations against him, and they couldn't find enough evidence to bring any charges against him. The media never reported that fact enough. The second case it actually went to trial, and he was found innocent.

Could someone please tell me why Jermane Jackson thanked the other Jacksons? HE didnt get an award, so why would HE thank anyone, didnt seem like he was accepting it for Michael AT ALL! Nice chance to put his children in the spotlight though... None of those Jacksons EVER miss the chance to capitolize on the media.

Taylor Swift is annoying. I hate how she used her relationship and breakup with Joe Jonas for publicity. She's constantly dissed him to the media and tweeted about her relationship to try to get girls to be her fans. She even dissed Joe on SNL when she was on there two weeks ago. I wish people would stop saying she writes her songs. She has a co-writer or co-writers. She has one of the most horrible voices in the music industry.
