I disagree with you... I think it was awesome to see Swift take home the AMA she fairly won. Some of her music is ok. I think she is a great role model for young kids though. And she seems very genuine, which is why I think she has killed it this year at all the awards shows. What I personally think is K-razy and always have, is to have someone up for nomination that has passed away. Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger... I don't think its fair for the current nominations. But thats just my opinion! :)

I don't think there is anything wrong with crossing the musical genres. Taylor Swift is the modern day Tanya Tucker. She is a very talented young lady, although I have seen some of her live performances which were less than spectacular. She is a positive role model for todays youth, unlike Britney Spears, Beyonce, & Mariah Carey whose videos are more like soft porn than a showcase for their music.

Did you notice that the first half of the show was all white then it got Black toward the end? Is that because in LA whites have to get back indoors before it gets to dark (no pun intended) so they don`t get shot by the be-lacks?

Taylor Swift deserves the awards she gets for the multi-talent that she possess. She doesn't have to be in any one category; she's so talented she can address them all. That's what sets Taylor apart as unique. She's got syle, class unlike many of those who received awards. Her performances are truly talent. Unlike dare I say Lady Gaga who exhibits cruelty and hatred for all to see; is she telling the world her life story; the woman needs help.
So Taylor you keep on singing and smiling and making music for all age groups and gendre. You are a true talented performer.

Every song sounds exactly the same to me. I can't tell one from another. And how does MJ win anyhting? When was the last time he had a song out. I know the gut is dead, but this is crazy.

Whats wrong with someone like Talor Swift getting awards, look at Carrie Underwood and how fast she had hit the charts, Swift is not only pretty but very talanted but I'm afraid that someone like Swift will get burnt out early in life I hope not but we see it all the time.

I'll second that, Taylor Swift is a pretty face, never heard one of her songs, and being in the same class with MJ is a joke. Yeah, what genre are these people in today, they start out in country and cross over to the mainstream, almost all the artists from the CMA showed up at the AMA. I turned off the AMA after Kelly Clarkson sang, overweight, no talent AI second rate singer, supposedly Adam Lambert kissed another guy, how nice. Great to know these singers of today have less talent and more hype.

I totally agree I like her and have some of her albums but she is no where near in the same catagory yet. SHe has won them all and has nothing to work toward.
