Viewers who caught the 'American Idol' singer's sexually charged AMAs performance may now be answering: "maybe, not."In Sunday night's performance, Lambert gallivanted around the sprawling stage, mingling with a wide-ranging cast of backup dancers. He did it all: grabbed a woman's crotch, dragged another female dancer around by her leg, made out with an androgynous keyboardist and -- perhaps most shockingly -- simulated a certain sex act with a male dancer. I cannot believe Adam Lambert made such an ass of himself in front of soooooo many.
American Idol would have blocked his performance from the tv audience.
OMG, kp, get a clue! Adam done more last night that Janet Jackson has ever done in her lifetime. Like they say, if you're gay, that's fine, but he got up there kissing and grabbing on women, but the topper was the mouth to crotch thing with the guy! That's just outright DISGUSTING and made me want to vomit. What was he trying to prove by doing this with men and women; that he's a bi-sexual? HA, We all know what you are Adam. Being gay is one thing; being a gross faggot is another.
Looks like a S&M Burlesque show! Did anyone in charge of the AMA's see this crap before it went on live TV?

Well... if these performers don't have enough sense to choose song and dance numbers that are suitable, then they should be sensored. I know they won't like that... but, they have a choice. They can prance about in their homes or adult clubs any way they like. Maybe we should have a new category... "Raunch". Anyone who wants to talk about, sing about, or act out sex acts... can do so under the Raunch category. There... problem solved.
While I enjoyed Adam as a contestant on AI, I think his performance on the AMA and the whole album itself just destroyed whatever career he was to have. He's lost everything that made people want to watch him. Really don't know what he was thinking. The performance on AMA was horrible and his singing and screaming in spots was way of.

Loved Adam on AI, looked so forward to the performance last night, had to turn it off, totally disgusting and degraded his talent
I didn't mind the performance. If it were Madonna, no one would think twice about it. However, he did sound awful.
Adam can do whatever Adam wants in my eyes... Did anyone bother to listen to the brilliance of his voice and vocal ranges?? I get goose bumps just hearing such raw talent.. Remember Madonna, remember The Stones, David Bowie, and mostly, REMEMBER ELVIS THE PELVIS... Did we not all find their behavior so unbelievably shocking, however years later, it defined them all as great entertainers.. Hence, his songs title words.. "I'm here for your entertainment" I applaud every aspect of all his talents..He has a gift..Maybe the gift was not wrapped the way we wanted it with a pretty red bow on top of it, but I'll accept his presents and presence anytime.. Totally disgusted with this performance. It seems he needs to use the "shock value" to get attention. His music is just not that spectacular. I enjoyed him on Idol but this crap is really screaming for gay attention.Who gives a crap! He needs to dwell on his talent, NOT HIS GAYNESS. It actually turns off people that otherwise would have tolerated him being gay. Dude, GO AWAY. FAR FAR AWAY.

I stopped even watching the video here. This man cannot sing, he screams. It hurts the ear. He is not any kind of talent unless you are looking for a sadist to run your sex life. This was a disgrace. It was not about our "entertainment". It was obviously about sexual acts for the partners he was singing too. It made me sick. If the Censors do not start doing their job, there is no telling what will be on tv next. Already advertised condoms, private itch creams, and you name it. Now this new horror named Adam. I am sorry if you support that trash he calls singing! But...this man showed his true colors and they are nothing but gross!
I thought his performance was just awful, he was screaming more than he was singing and the overtly sexual acts were just plain raunchy and not entertaining, the live audience didn't even clap they just seemed to stand there disgusted - if he was trying to make a point the point I got was do not buy this guys album.

Just plain weird!! I loved Adam during Idol but not now. His need to act in such a way during the AMA's was in poor taste. We know you are gay Adam, but you don't have to show public affection during your performances. Did you see the need for the other performers to french kiss girls or guys while performing? It was sick!!

Why all the pearl clutching folks? ABC knew what they were getting sans the kiss (but, really what's so shocking about a kiss? gasp!). Adam's album has so many sounds: fun, sexy, vulnerable, silly. If you don't give it a listen, you'll be missing out. This is just one aspect of the man and entertainer. Don't freak.

Of pleeeeease....kids and everyone are watching WAY worse daily on TV and at the movies. And actually doing it too! If you don't like what Adam did, don't watch. Go for a walk on the beach, read a book, do anything but watch television.

yes there is way worst on television! but why should I have to miss the AMA's or parts of it because someone wants to make a public display of his or her sexuality. No! Adam needs to clean his act up. people who display themselves publicly like that just not use to sex and go crazy when they "get a piece of ass"
