I like Adam, but I agree that performance was beneath his talents. It would have been fine in Las Vegas, or some other type venue where it's predominantly adults. But that was the AMA's and there were probably millions of young teens watching to see Taylor Swift. If he had only done the kiss, I dont think it would have been too bad, hell Britney and Madonna liplocked. BUT he did the crotch thing on the girl, and grinding his crotch into the guys face was just over the top!!

I am an Adam Lambert fan. IMO, the man is extremely talented, extremely poised and a thoughtful human being. And not that he wants to be, but clearly he was helping bridge understanding between the homosexual world, who just want to be accepted as people, and the homophobic world, who are afraid to accept.

Well Adam, you blew it (excuse the pun). Sure, entertainers get away with little snippets of sexuality here and there. You, however, dropped an atomic bomb on the viewers. It was gross, unnecessary, inappropriate and demeaning to everyone involved. Adam, YOU turned people into sexual objects and play toys. Your career will nosedive if you keep it up.

Men have been grabbing their crotches for a couple of decades now. They also have been grabbing women, going down on their microphones, and simulating sex on stage FOREVER. As a die hard fan of Adam Lambert I was so disappointed. I am not a prude, I teach sex ed to high school and college students across the country. This thought process of what Madonna and Brittany have done is crazy...what kind of conflicting messages are these musicians sending? We have the highest STI rate of any of the industrialized nations! Teens are confused about sex and are often sent the wrong messages! This performance should have been about Adam's incredible voice, not his lewd actions in front of a national audience. He cheapened the AMA's. I wonder if his parents were looking on as proudly as they did during his American Idol performances!

The only discrimination that's happening, Mr. Lambert, is against pornography, basically. It has nothing to do with what KIND (gay or other) it is. And, I disagree that "other artists" have been doing this for years. NOT! Either you make good music (whatever your taste) or you don't! I didn't like Michael Jackson's (and zillions of hip hop "artists") crotch-grabbing, and I don't like yours OR the rest of the porn-trash stunts you pulled.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. His performance was mediocre at best, and the gratutious sexuality did nothing to distract from his lack of talent. Discrimination? Nope, you suck, Adam. Censorship? Nope, you got bounced. Have a nice future, kid!

I remember my grandmother thinking Elvis was disgusting and a "pervert". I remember my parents saying that Janis Joplin, Elton John, David Bowie and yes the Beatles would be the downfall of our generation. I remember the disgust of people over Madonna. Get off it folks... Janet Jackson grabbed a crotch and did sexual things at the BEGINNING of the show when kids are up, Eminem & 50 Cent rapped about murder, guns, etc. So THAT's ok but Adam kissing a guy isn't? Where were all of you self-righteous people when Janet and Eminem did their things? That IS a double standard. Adam is talented and hopefully he can get past this and go on to a long career, he deserves to be noticed for his talent.

Well... yes his performance was a little racey, but no worst than what Madonna, or Britney, or any other women has done on stage. As far as him being gay, sooooo!! Let's see ..... some of our FAMOUS singers that are gay..... ever heard of Sir Elton John? Davey Bowey was bi, as well as Mick Jager of the Rolling Stones,Gees even Madonna was Bi for a while and was very open with it on tv and her concerts. Adam didn't do anything that some of our women singers haven't already done. Adam is a very talented singer and performer. I wish him all the luck in the world.

I totally agree. There will be no more Adam Lambert in my home. I couldn't tell you if his song was any good or not, as I was so offended by his behavior I had to turn off the TV, and to think I was ready to go out and buy his album. I will not be!
