Katie Couric, CBS News Dancing Queen

Katie Couric is not just reading the headlines this week, she's making them -- well, at least old photos of her are.

Photos of the 'CBS Evening News' anchor dancing following her anchoring debut in 2006 were posted on Gawker.com, showing Couric working the dancefloor with her daughters. Couric is seen busting a movie, and in one shot is seen holding her legs and, as the kids say, dropping it like it's hot. (Sorry, that was just as awkward for us as it was for you. The photos were from a party celebrating Couric's debut as the first woman to anchor a network news broadcast.

Couric's publicist, in response to the photos, tells Gawker that "Katie had a good time dancing with her daughters -- they choreographed the dance and had fun doing it."

LOL! How behind some people are, or detattched from real life, so far that they can't even speak the simple vernacular of their own society. I believe the person meant to say that she was "bustin a move," meaning she was gettin down!

Are you calling yourself dumb. You had enough since to do the right thing. Our President is trying to save this country. If you are watching the news you will see that other countries are proud of our new President. He is the real thing and world leaders are on board.

Katie Couric is one very attractive woman. However, I think that "Baba WaWa" = Barbara Walters was actually the first woman anchor and then Connie Chung. Still Katie could be the woman to do the anchoring by herself, without a male co-anchor. Glad to see that she's enjoying life and that her legs are as great as they were when she started the Today program. Katie also deserves the adulation of a grateful nation for making it obvious how unqualified Sarah Palin was to be President.

Looks like Tammy didn't get the memo, after a full year as passed. This just in..."Majority of the GOP faithful never considered Palin as QUALIFIED." Only John McCain thought as such. Perhaps he wasn't thinking with his brain, and ONLY for that reason...I never blamed him. :)

Who the hell still freakin cares about an election from NINETEEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO? I wasn't born until the following year. Do you want a trophy with 1972 on it? What exactly do you think is so amazing about Sarah Palin that the intelligent majority, the "elite" as you refer to the educated, can't seem to find? Is it her "ya betcha's" and Back-assward slang from Alaska that "gets ya" or is it the lack of qualified education, immoral and indecent family values, witchcraft loving unethical background, or the 'out of wedlock' LOVE child that she shipped off to Iraq to try to win an election? No, it must be the way she throws that retarded kid into the bus as she bilks stupid Americans out of money for a book that is fiction and she couldn't even write by herself, right? The woman is pathetic, and that goes for her devoted, cult-like following. I hope she does run and get elected for President so that we go down in the flames that we deserve for allowing the disrespect and hate-mongering to continue this long.
