The Muppets Cover Queen, and It Rules
By PopEater Staff Posted Nov 24th 2009 05:22PM
In the pre-Thanksgiving craziness and rush to get things done before the holiday, a treat landed in our lap that turned all of that stress inside out and made the PopEater crew thankful for life itself -- the Muppets covering the Queen hit 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Yes, you read that correctly and it's even more fantastic/amazing/brilliant than one could imagine, leaving us feeling completely obligated to share it with you. Seriously, watch the video ... you will thank us for it -- and happy Thanksgiving!

If you cant lighten up and see the humor in something like that then the only thing stupid is YOU.

Kimmy that is a very ignorant outlook on life, that people are stupid just because they don't agree with your likes. So not only was the song stupid, you seem pretty stupid too...uh I mean ignorant.

Too bad the AMA's couldn't have swapped out that flamer lambert fella for the muppets. A lot more people would've kept their tv's on.

Wow. Popeater covering a story WITHOUT gossip? Haha I'm just kidding. But, seriously, that was very good. It made me smile, and really that's all that matters. Great job. Loved it.

Well, that was entertaining. What's next from the Muppets - Gilbert & Sullivan perhaps? On the poll question of going to the movies. The local theatre chain put their new theatre in the middle of the mall. Unless you're nuts, desperate or maybe both, you don't want to go anywhere near the place for the time between now and New Year's. As I'm neither desperate or nuts[opinions vary] I'm not going anywhere near the mall to see a movie.

Yeah Great. Just another "dumbing down" of society video. The line "I just killed a man, put a gun against his head and now he's dead" obviously was too rough for the muppets to cover. Well? If you cant keep the context of the lyrics in a song? DONT COVER IT!! Why not paint a mustache on the Mona Lisa.

It IS the MUPPETS! And it's perfectly okay that not everything our children watch or listen to is trashy or violent. I thought this was great. Love the Muppets. Jim, didja see this, man? Great.
