Wondering why "Jimmy Clausen Punched," "Jon and Kate Series Finale," "Erin Ravenstahl," and "Adam Lambert Good Morning America" are surging in Google Trends? We can shed some light on the mystery. Google Trends provides the hottest keywords of the hour. Though the results change frequently, at any given time the list offers a snapshot of what's hot in the world of entertainment news. Here's what's steamin' today...Jon and Kate Plus 8 Series Finale – It's finally over! You'll never hear a thing about the dysfunctional couple and their victimized litter of pups ever again! Yeah right... If anything's for sure, the 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' brand is being put to bed by TLC. OK, not even that's for sure. The network could resurrect the show at any given moment, and you know the money hungry stars will gladly oblige. Maybe nothing's for sure here. Nothing except Jon is done with Kate, Kate loves/hates Jon all at once, the kids have no idea of the mess they're in, and TLC loves everyone.
Adam Lambert Good Morning America – Speaking of love/hate relationships, ABC has just that type of gig with Adam Lambert. The 'American Idol' runner-up announced his sexual preference on the network's primetime news show '20/20' in June. ABC hyped the American Music Awards with Lambert's "must-see" performance, and then basked in the award show's best ratings since 2002. The love has always been there, and now the hate. Today the network announced it has cancelled Lambert's Wednesday 'Good Morning America' performance. "Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning," an ABC spokeswoman said.
Jimmy Clausen Punched – There is perhaps no more prominent position in college football than quarterback for Notre Dame. That's why you've heard of Jimmy Clausen even if you don't know Jack about sports, and that's why you care that this guy got sucker punched by a distraught fan while leaving a bar after a crushing loss to the lowly Connecticut Huskies. Unfortunately, no video exists of the run-in, though reports indicate Clausen incurred a black eye. He's in fine enough shape to take the field this week, but if the Fighting Irish lose, you can be sure he won't be taking to the streets afterward.
Adam Lambert AMA Video – More than 1,500 people called in to ABC to complain about Glambert's vulgar performance at Sunday night's American Music Awards. For every complaint, the network can count several unhappy people who were too shy to call in. In a nutshell, the performance irked a large portion of America. But Lambert, who is openly gay, thinks society is judging him by a double standard. "I feel like women performers have been pushing the envelope, especially for the past 20 years," Lambert told CNN, no doubt referring to the Britney Spears-Madonna makeout session at the 2003 VMAs. "All of a sudden a male does it and everybody goes, 'Oh, we can't show that on TV.'"
Erin Ravenstahl – Politicians are supposed to be shining beacons of righteousness and core Christian values. Not sure when or how that ideal was implanted in our collective psyche, but as far as we can tell over here, that expectation has never really been met. It might even be true that politicians are dirtier and more prone to divorce than your average American. We'll sift through the statistics at a later date. Erin Ravenstahl just split from husband Luke, the mayor of Pittsburgh, after 5 years of marriage. "She doesn't like the limelight," Luke tells KDKA. "She didn't like the fact that I became mayor." In response to rumors that he cheated on his wife, the mayor said, "It's the nature of this business. People will say things."
Paula Deen Hit with Ham – The headline is funnier than the actual act, and way more hilarious than the amateur video. We suppose all you need is a catchy headline to turn a banal event into a newsworthy item. It definitely helps when said banal event includes an elder stateswoman of The Food Network and a flying dead pig.

apparently the author of Jimmy Clausen Punched doesn't kmow Jack about sports other than Jimmy Clausen is the quarterback for Notre Dame. Uconn is not lowly. Having been at the game Uconn showed more spirit and determination to win. They did not give up. They didn't give up against #5 Cincinnati scoring 35 points in the second half only to lose by 2 points. That is not a lowly team. Notre Dame had better talent. Uconn had a better team

In the end.... it's just a game! Why do people get so upset? On the grand scale of things... sports rates so far down on the list of priorities or things that actually MATTER. Get over it! LOL
And now, there is a lien on the home that Jon Gosselins children live in because Porky, the Pig of a Prince Charming stole money from the household account that his chilren earned which Porky used to pay for his trip to the French Rivera along with his drug dealing girlfriend, his expenvise NYC apartment, his fancy expensive sports car he uses in Manhattan to tool around with, his 4 carat diamond stud earrings, his meals, clothes, hair stylists and trips not only to the Hamptons but around the world. But yet he admitted that he couldn't even stand to be with his own children during the last show and bolted out of there on the show that earned all that cash he pissed away on himself.

It is just a game but when you throw in a couple of beers....J.C. is wearing a face helmet now and covering up his black eyes. Coach C.W. is heading out, I think.
