Although back from the hospital, Nicole Richie says she's still laid up at home after a bout with pneumonia. "Right now it's important for me to stay in bed and recover," Richie, 28, wrote on her blog Tuesday. "Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving."She apologized for missing promotional appearances, saying she was disappointed at not being able to see her business partners and fans, but says, "I'd like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks."
Her rep tells UsMagazine.com, "Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well."
Richie alluded to being dogged by sickness in a post on Twitter this past Sunday, writing "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving." The 'Simple Life' alum has two kids, daughter Harlow and son Sparrow, with boyfriend Joel Madden.
