'GMA' Schedules Chris Brown After Canceling Adam Lambert

Chris Brown for an interview and a performance, angering many, the
New York Post reports.
"The network is giving a mixed message -- that it doesn't trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault," an ABC source tells the New York Post.
After Lambert's raunchy AMAs appearance, in which the former 'American Idol' runner-up kissed his male keyboardist and shoved his backup dancer's face into his crotch, ABC -- which aired the AMAs -- scrapped him from its 'GMA' lineup.
ABC insists it had nothing to do with the gay kiss, but that Lambert "showed himself to be unpredictable on live TV."
The network also says that Brown's appearance was scheduled long before Lambert was canceled.
"Chris Brown's interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna's interview. The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week," an insider revealed.

also, ABC knew damn well what the content of that performance was going to be.. they approved a song about sex with s&m style outfits & men on leashes but they're upset that he "simulated oral sex"? really? LMFAO

I think what GMA is doing is absolutely reprehensible. What a double standard!!!!! Beating a woman is ok but a gay kiss is not. GMA prefers violence over intimacy? So...Lets see. Lewd, pornographic, liza Minelli, Queen. Abusive, immature, knee jerk reactions. Chris gets to respond to rihanna...Man performs before millions at the awards and on Television and purposely acts out lewdness on primetime tv in front of children who like music and adults who pay for it...In regardless of what Elvis did in gyrating his hips, he did not do "clothes on" sex acts with his crew!!! Talent is one thing, which Adam does to some degree have, but to act out a song that could have sold without the visuals is not smart on his behalf attempting to prove a point about his sexuality. Everyone knows that Freddie (Queen) was gay; he did not have to prove it. George (Wham) is gay and he made every female love him outside of that fact and he did not have to present himself to be of a "Dark nature". Adam did this to himself, no one is at fault but him. There is too much controversy already about his lifestyle and he just made it much deeper. There was nothing classy about his debut and it was stepping in the realm of being perverse beyond perverse. After all "Keep it classy"!!!
Get a life. Adam's "gayness" had nothing to do with his being cancelled from GMA. ABC invited him to perform at the AMA awards and he took advantage of a great opportunity. He gave a disgusting, raunchy performance, not to mention the finger (up yours, F.U.)he gave the audience. I'd never trust him on a morning show and they were right to cancel him.
I thought the song was awesome and hell the same things have been done by female artist since Mondonna came on the scene. The shows producers knew well in advance what was going to take place. WHat is wrong with ABC?? He did an excellent job and i am sure he had to put in many hours with his group to get the moves down right and if the people in the group had no problems with it then no one should be called God and pass judgement. I wish him the best in his future endevors

There is a chance that Cris Brown can turn his life around. But being gay is nasty for your entire life. I agree with ABC on this one, what could be more gross than two big harrie men kissing one another. I disspyes gays and every thing it stand for, And yes I AM A FAR LEFT LIBERAL.

However unlike Adam Lambchop, chris brown is trying to get his life in order. he will forever be known as a women beater thats sad. but like every other human he deserves forgiveness. atleast he has enough manners to apologize and everything. something adam lambert refuses to do. calm down. listening to chris brown is not a bad thing. he has great music! im sure your daughters would forgive you in any of your moments of weakness. we are all human remember!

I Guess you don't know yet, but ABC is the gay network...Duh. So it had nothing to do with the gay boy being gay. Everything to do with classy. He wasn't plain and simple. Neither is Brown.
