Adam Lambert was performing, and his performance was obviously rehearsed, maybe all but the kiss, and ABC knew what his segment was about. When he does live interviews he is very polite, articulate, and smart. And I am still shocked that no one has mentioned the whole number by Shakira which I thought was disgusting!!!

Adam Lambert played a character in his performance...a semi-violent, highly sexual character but it was A PERFORMANCE. Chris Brown beat a REAL person, in a VIOLENT manner, and was arrested in REAL LIFE. Now WHY would a PERFORMER be cancelled, and a WOMAN BEATER be allowed to appear? The only possible answer is that because Adam Lambert is a gay man, what he did, even though it was a performance was unacceptable to ABC, but it's OK for Chris Brown. He's just a straight guy keeping his gal in line so he deserves a forum, right? Ummm...yea, RIGHT. Shame on ABC!

ABC is SO hypocritical. OK, let's begin. ABC touts throughout the AMAs "don't miss Adam Lambert's eye popping performance!", they put him at the end knowing it will keep viewers glued for the whole show, they saw his rehearsals and knew already that most of it was pushing the envelope, they cancel him for GMA (even though he did a very audience friendly performance there in August), THEN they schedule Chris Brown, the "wife beater"??? So it's wrong for guys to kiss, but it's OK for a guy to beat the *** out of a woman? Good going, ABC, you really are screwed up.

Shows that ABC is controlled by the "Right Wing Christians". It's okay to be discriminatory, accept people like Chris Brown who beat women, be hateful, judge others, listen to druggies like Rush Limbaugh, or ignorant people like Sarah Palin...shows where are country is headed. I have always enjoyed GMA, no more,that is just another example of how the world looks at domestic violence, it's ok, Oprah had mike tyson on twice to defend himself until Robin Givens came on and let Oprah know how she felt. No one was hurt by what Adam lambert did and no laws were broken and nobody was arrested for attemted murder. How can GMA even consider Chris Brown. By the way Adam Lambert did two other shows this week and was the BEST.

The problem is Lambert said he did not rehearse the kissing, sex acting, etc. and he just "Shoots from the hip when performing." I think he is a GREAT singer but he really hurt himself by acknowledging he is a loose cannon on stage.

Too unpredictable???Adam was on GMA this summer for the Central Park Concert.He was great,both vocally and behavior.I think he knows the difference between 11PM and 8AM!
