The whole point of what I do – The Monster Ball, the music, the performance aspect of it – I want to create a space for my fans where they can feel free and they can celebrate.

Having listening to Ms. Houston performance of "Didn't know my own strength" her singing voice has changed over the years since her success of bodyguard. Regardless of what happened in her private life, who are we to judge her for what she has done? Critics who criticize her for her performance due to her substance abuse are just insecure and jealous of her determination and perserverance. I would state, that if you people who criticizes her for her singing and past drug usage, feel that you can do better, go up there and sing as she did that night.
Her performance was honset, sincere, and from the heart. Good for you Whitney, you got rid of your demons, I wish the naysayers would get rid of theirs. Break a leg, wound a knee Whitney, Good work
