Rough Weekend for Hasselhoff and Ex

David Hasselhoff has reportedly been released from a California hospital following his hospitalization for a seizure and subsequent "psychiatric hold,"

According to TMZ, Bach was pulled over after she spent an emotional night trying to console her daughters, who were apparently shaken up by Hasselhoff's hospitalization. During their dinner, TMZ claims she had "a few drinks," and was later pulled over and registered blood-alcohol levels of .14 and .13 on subsequent tests. The legal limit for driving in California is .08.
This is Bach's second DUI arrest, and should she be charged, she faces mandatory jail time under California law. She pled no contest to a prior DUI in March of 2009.
Bach released a statement saying that she is "remorseful and mortified," about the incident, and that she and the family are "going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce."
Hasselhoff and Bach divorced in 2007 after years of public blow-ups and incidents, including the leaked video of a drunken David incoherently eating a cheeseburger.
As for David and his hospitalization, the actor's attorney says that he's now checked out of the hospital and is "fine."
RadarOnline, who broke the story of his hospitalization, says that Hasselhoff was held under a psychiatric hold.

Anyone who is in recovery really knows what "FINE" means. So David Hasselhoff is truly FINE. Don't you him personally, nor his wife but obviously neither one of these selfish people can figure out that they have problems with booze. Seizures don't get people put into pyshiatric holds so do the math.
The BOTH of you should start thinking about the two children who you haven't finished raising yet, both of you are morons. GET HELP !

If he was really on psychiatic hold, he would not have been released already... dang the sensationalism to the story! He had a seziure and was checked out and released... otherwise he would still be there.
Why were the kids mortified? This is not new stuff here. Plus, if everyone uses everyone else as an excuse to get drunk, nobody will ever be sober.
I may sound selfish but this is my feelings on this...alcoholism isn't a treat, it's not paradise! I know because I suffer from it. Not proud but I do have one good quality, I'm honest. I feel so very bad for the entire family. I was crying when I watched the video of David drunk and eating on the floor, so degrading but how could his child put this on the internet? Someday she will wish she could take this back but it will never be forgotten. Alcoholism is a very very bad disease, it hurts the one suffering from it but it also hurts the entire family and friends. I have family in Florida so they don't get to see me drinking now but I am still drinking and I cry when I'm alone because I am embarrassed of what I do.I love my family, especially my daughter and my new grandson. I want to make them proud of me. I want to be proud of me. I have a good relationship going on with my daughter, I help her when she needs some extra money, so don't get me wrong, I'm not a monster just a loving parent with a major addiction. I do manage to keep a very good job but when I get out I drink. It sounds awful but you can still love even though alcohol has taken full control of your body!
Unfortunately I am all too familiar with alcoholism. My sister had a seizure do to alcohol which resulted in cardiac arrest which killed her. When an alcoholic drinks, it wipes out all of their potassium causing seizures. Long story short, alcohol will eventually kill you.
Once David hears about his ex-wife's DUI problems, he's going to need a stiff drink to dull the pain.

Someone needs to check Hassellhoff's blood for LSD. Pam probably dosed him.

I feel sorry for Hasselhoff's kids. Both parents set a poor example for them to follow.

So what if these people got into trouble over the weekend. These people are not role models for us. They are privileged people with low morals, who have too much money and care only for their own putrid lives. Thousands more did the same and you didn't remark about those. It is gossip... and you love it. Because it is gossip it is wrong. Speak if you must, but only of things that build people up.
Go and do something to benefit the population of this Nation. Find something respectable to do with the pitiful short time you have left of your sorry lives. Take all of the money wasted on your sorid trivia. Do something positive for the truly poor and destitute in our world. For the hungry, the sick and dying, for the children of prisoners, who didn't get a choice. Your report blesses no one.
Pray that you don't lead others astray who hold these to be heroic. Pray that your life could be used to benefit....., someone!

Whoa, holy roller! Your point is well taken but try leaving the hellfire and brimstone out. You will be taken more seriously by all if you do.
they should lock the dumb drunk up forever can you say the D.T. SHUFFEL

Any one of us at the very least would have the kids, by the choice of the authorities, removed from the home and placed in the immeadiate care of at least relatives. It is not want the parents want for the child as to where to reside more than it is placing the child in a safe and secure enviornment!

most people don't get put on pshyciatric holds unless they have intent to harm themselves or others, not for seizures.

Actually, these days it is quite easy to be put in secure hold. Anyone going to the ER and saying that they are in pain can easily jeopardize themselves if they say "it is so bad it is killing me" or 'I am ready to jump out a window with this headache' That is all you have to say and you will be watched directly by an RN for the next 24 hours. Simple expressions to show the severity of pain can now land you in secure hold when all you meant to say was an expression, not an absolute suicide message. All these words are now taken as gospel so be careful how you express yourself next time you go to the emergency room. Don't even say you are so embarrassed you could die...that will bring on security measures as well.
I met David Hasselhoff about 45 yrs ago, he was so handsome and nice, he signed a picture for me and my daughter, you would have never known he had an alcohol problem back then. Its a shame what it can do to a person. Good luck David, its a terrible addiction.

Are you sure it was 45 years ago? I am 40 which means you met him 5 years prior to me being born. Hassellhoff wasn't famous until Knight Rider in the 80's. You must be drinking too.
No one seems to remember the young and VERY handsome David on the Young and the Restless back in the late 70's. I am a young 77 year old cutie, and I remember him from back then.
Hasselhoff was born in 1952 and you met him "45" years ago, so he would have been hmmm 12? I don't know, I guess just do the math yourself. I guess you could have played together as kids. *shrug*
She said ABOUT 45 years ago, not exactly. So what's wrong with that? You nitpickers need a drink.
Hasselhoff is very irritating on "American Idol". He thinks he is so pretty and is so affected.
