Katey Sagal Breaks Her Motherhood Mold in 'Sons of Anarchy'

Katey Sagal is embracing her latest role as Gemma Morrow, the shrewd and tough wife of a biker club's president, in FX's drama 'Sons of Anarchy.' Morrow is a far cry from Sagal's previous motherly roles and broke the "Peg Bundy mold" people had come to associate with her, she told PopEater. And as the season comes to an end, Sagal reveals there will be "curve balls" that will leave audiences very "satisfied."

Sagal also opens up about working alongside her husband and 'Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter, her music career and her new "girl crush" Sandra Bullock. Watch:

Best show ever! Katy Sagal is benius in her role! She totally kick ass as does all the women. I never watched this show until this season with my brother and father and totally regret missing it. If you have missed it, I suggest you find a way to catch it. You will not be disappointed!

i saw SONS by, flipping channels last season. it is adult content, but very well done. and, i really like that they don't show you what is going to happen next, like a person can not get it the first time. hopefully, when this season is done, fx runs the all of the shows, till next season. good luck to the show.

My husband & I have been hooked since the very first episode, as well as my best friend & her husband. The best show I have EVER seen on TV. I got my nephews & brother & sister in law hooked this season... all it takes is watching 1 episode!

Katey Sagal is not only a great actor and a Hot chick she is a fantastic Blues singer. I have always loved her acting and Peg Bundy was classic, her role in the Sons is also a great vehicle for her acting career. I like the show even though they stretch the reality of some of the scenes but that television for ya. But I love Katey Sagal in anything she does.

The articles title would have been better if it said "from mother of
suburban family to mother of a biker gang" or something like
that...she is what you would call the mother....she is great in the
role....this show has gotten steadily better ...to the point where i
cant wait for the next show.

SOA is just awesome! I got hooked this season and make sure to dvr if I am at work....BTW: Gemmas' 'husband' was the beast in 'Beauty and the Beast' with Linda Hamilton years back...! He was also in 'Sleepwalkers'......
