Lisa Loeb Welcomes Baby Girl, Lyla Rose

It's a baby girl for singer Lisa Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz, her rep tells PEOPLE. Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz arrived Sunday morning, Nov. 29 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is the first child for the couple.

Loeb, 41, and Hershkovitz, 31, a music production supervisor for 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien,' announced that they were expecting in September.

The couple met in 2006 at a business meeting and married last January.

Loeb shot to fame in 1994 with the No. 1 single 'Stay (I Missed You)' from the movie 'Reality Bites.'

I thought perhaps they are good for each other. They both needed emotional support. They had to close the set of Brothers because he was so upset about HL's death...she was trying to get through and over her divorce.

Who is she?? Don't know her. Don't care if she had a baby. Women have babies every day but you do NOT see them get media attention. Something is wrong with this world if we are consumed about only certain women giving birth. Should I tell this rag of a media outlet every time my relative or friend has a baby??? Jeepers, people need to get a life.

Same here my son listens to the childrens songs she sings as well. Just because you dont know her doesnt mean shes not a public figure. Maybe think outside your little world and you'll know such things.

Why should I accept Tigers apology? This is between him and his wife. The public should butt out! I am so tired of everyone apologizing for everything when there is NO feeling of being sorry behind it or NO REASON to apologize in the first place. Anyone can say "I'm sorry"...but what does it mean to us anyway. These apologies are getting out of hand. They mean absolutely NOTHING!!!
