I have actually discussed that same thing with others as far as some of the dance moves that have been on So You Think You Can Dance being very risque as well. They often, almost weekly, have at least one dance that involves sexual simulation of some sort. Maybe they don't ban them because they are guy on girl, which is flat out discrimination right there! And I love SYTYCD, but I am still intelligent enought to notice that there is somewhat of a double standard going on here. I also wonder why there was not a big stir caused by Lady Gaga's performance on the MTV awards I believe it was...when she was acting out her murder/death on stage!! That was very violent and disgusting... moreso to me than Adam's performance. I am still taken back by her, and already forgotten about Adam's self-proclaimed over the top one.
I am a 55 year old Mother of 2 wonderful sons, both outstanding gentlemen. One in Med School and one will be Valedictorian at graduation this year. Im not a loser Mom....some of you think that all people who like Adam Lambert are. Some of you need to grow up. I watched the AMA's, was very disappointed in the performance. However, to chastise him over one performance is obsurd. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE NEVER MADE A MISTAKE IN YOUR LIFE?? Must be nice to be so perfect if you havent. Get off your high horse and stop with the insults. There is NO question that Adam is ultra-talented. You dont need a degree in Vocal and Music Performance to see that. If you have taken the time to watch his interviews afterwards, you would hear him say he made a big mistake and he has no plans of doing it again. I, for one, feel his agents lead him in the wrong direction and Adam is taking the heat. Give him a break! He is awesome, and one mistake on his part won't change my mind on that.

ProudMom - So you would have had no problem watching this "performance" with your children when they were young? My children are 7 and 9 and I didn't appreciate it all. Not the kind of questions a parent should have to answer at this age. No high horse about it, it was most inapropriate. Talent is no excuse for boorish behavior.

Adam, I am with you 100%. All female performers can kiss one another and do a lot of other things and it is accepted. One black singer is so disgusting!!! Ugh!!! Why do they continue to have her perform. She has been banned in other countries too!! You remind me of Elvis so much. Just remember you have tons of fans that are with you all the way. I loved your performance. My God!! You rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam will tantalize most with his new CD.... it is a nice diverse grouping of songs for all ears. To ridicule the talent on that CD only shows you as an idiot.

Diva, you are far from correct. One mistake did not cost Michael Jackson, Madonna, Brittney Spears, Janet Jackson etc...etc... It may throw him a curve right now, but he will be larger then life some day......

Diva, his album was # 2. That is far from being done! Adam and his fans will have the last laugh. ( we already are)
His performance was disgusting and obnoxious -- the song was awful and he sounded terrible. He may think, because the AMA's were on later in the evening, that younger children would not see his inappropriate behavior -- wake up Adam --with all the Internet and TV coverage (including news programs) of course it will be seen. What the world needs now is a decent role model and Adam, you're not it.

Do you people hear yourselves? So much hate its sad. So let me get this you want him to perform one way for his gay fans then another for his straight fans??? This is the stupidest thing Ive heard. Im a straight female and LOVED his performance. Im so sick of hearing about AMA he had a guys face in his crotch for like 5 seconds get over it! No different then women rubbing all over male dancers.
