Clearly Adam Lambert has p*ssed-*ff the WRONG "somebody" at ABC, and they're NOT going to let him forget it.
Adam (like Janet Jackson before him), simply chose the WRONG venue for their outrageous and provocative performances. On the MTV Music Awards, their performances would have been par for the course, and seen as just "edgy". While ABC considers it's AMA's as "FAMILY" entertainment, as does the NFL it's HALFTIME SHOW.
BTW Adam's "Male Keyboardist" is actually a female. Viewers simply assumed she was "male" because Adam who is gay, "kissed" her.

Little wonder why our society is falling apart! Little wonder depression rates, addiction etc are soaring in our young. What kind of message are we sending our young...those we're meant to protect from the evils of this world? What is happening to us when we allow this trash to be acceptable? Leave those antics to the bedroom where they belong!

I think the people rambling on about this one performance should talk as loud and crazy as they can. Eveytime some right wing fanatic or self loathing closeted queer posts, a cash register rings... so, go tell it on the mountain cause you're creating a career here! The more media attention you create the more often people will look a that and say "Hey, theres a fast way to get a break and some publicity".

By the time someone is 27 years old he should realize that there are consequences for inappropriate actions. I have not seen all of Adam's post AMA interviews but I have not seen or read an apology. He did say that this performance probably should not have been so early in his career.

I realize other performers have included acts I would consider inappropriate but Adam had 5 in his performance (inclding the finger at the end.) When I saw the pictures of him for Details magazine posing with a naked woman I began to fear sex would be an emphasis for him that he didn't need but I really did not expect the one at AMA.

With all the censoring they have to delay broadcasts, and they must have let the show go on even after it was rehersed, ABC is to blame for letting this get as far as it did. They had to have known what was about to happen. He wasn't the only crotch grabber that night. But he went further than the others. They're all gross. What happened to singing on a music award show???
