Kelly Clarkson: One Big Hotel Tipper

Kelly Clarkson was spreading the love at the hip Hotel Monaco in Seattle during a lengthy stay. Restaurant patrons started a low-key frenzy as she hung out at the hotel restaurant Sazerac over successive evenings. But the highlight came when the successful solo artist dropped by on Thanksgiving to take part in the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. "Before heading out for her own Thanksgiving dinner, she dropped a hundred dollar tip on the bartender. Needless to say it was something to be thankful for," one-star struck patron tells PopEater. But the love didn't stop there.

PopEater reached out to a hotel source who said that Clarkson is still beloved by the hotel staff after she laid out another $100 tip for her room service bill.

And she moved into hotel legendary status after she checked out.

"Rock stars are supposed to leave the place a wreck," says the source. "But Kelly's room was immaculate. It was almost cleaner when she left."

Rock on Kelly Clarkson, rock on.

WOW!~....WONDERFUL, FABULOUS!~...MARVELOUS!...IF I HAD THE KIND OF MONEY THESE PEOPLE MAKE I WOULD LEAVE A ""REAL TIP""" SOMETIMES....WHATS A HUNDRED BUCKS TO PEOPLE LIKE THIS WHO MAKE TENS AND HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS!...THEY SHOULD DROP A FEW BUCKS ON EVERY POOR PERSON THEY MEET...WOULDNT HURT THEM ONE BIT...MIGHT MAKE THEM FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES AS HUMAN BEINGS...

so because they work in that type industry they don't feel good about themselves?? wow! i waitress but i feel great because of the people i meet and the atmosphere and not just becz i get a tip or not. as far as a "real tip", that was because some stars don't and as it states they usually trash the room. she even kept it cleaner or cleaned it better than when she came in. now, i do but for her to do it was classy in itself. just the fact that she even THOUGHT to give that money was better than not. give her that at least!!

When my daughter was 9 yrs old we went to see her and Clay Aiken in Pa and stayed at the same hotel. As her tour bus was getting ready to leave the hotel parking lot loads of people were waiting for her autograph, she started signing autographs when her body guards pushed her past the crowd onto the waiting bus... just as the door started closing on the bus she pushed it back open and yelled at her bodyguards to wait...got off the bus and walked through the crowd right over to my daughter! She said "I'm sorry honey, and signed her CD!" She spent about 2 minutes talking to my daughter until she was pulled away. She is a class act!

What's really cool is Kelly's phat @ss also left tips for the person that has to do the toilet. It also left a tip for the maid that brings extra toilet paper and her phat @ss also tipped every chair that held Kelly's phat @ss.

That's crude, and low. Pathetic. Still, why does everyone think she should just turn her pockets out for every hobo that hobbles past her tour bus. Then you'd be calling her out for throwing all of her money away. If it isn't one thing, it's another. Giving a great tip is exactly what it is, a gesture of gratitude. So many who have money think it's their god-given right to be served by others, and don't give a crap about those their irresponsible behavior affects.

Oh, and unless you're pulling down millions yourself, Paxton, you aren't nearly as great as she is. Maybe you should stand up on a stage and give it a shot.

It's really hard to believe that we have to walk around on the same planet with some of the idiots who post here.... Don't you all have something else to do????
