Candy Spelling and her famous daughter Tori have thawed their icy relationship, the matriarch said in a series of interviews this week. At a panel for the E! reality series 'Bank of Hollywood' on Wednesday, the elder Spelling revealed she was communicating with her daughter and has spent time with Tori's two children, including a first-time visit with toddler Stella. In a chat with Usmagazine.com on Thursday, Spelling said she and her child have taken their relationship "to a place that I'm very very pleased with" after a very public falling out that has lasted three years.

Watching Tori Spelling act is nothing short of corporal punishment. She does indeed owe her career to her dad. She would never have gotten where she did if he didn't run and own half of the world of TV.

Thank God. Life is too short, and family is too important. No family is perfect. Sometimes we hurt each other but forgiveness hopefully will prevail for them....and for all of us.

I realize that there are always two sides to every story but for Candy Spelling to publically announce that she feels Tori was responsible for her father's death is unforgivable. What kind of cold hearted and mean mother would actually say something so hurtful? Of course, I don't know Mrs. Spelling but I have never got that warm and fuzzy feeling about her. She always seemed so cold, reserved to a fault, and unemotionable. You could say that she is just a very private person but for the fact that she has repeatedly spoke out about her daughter with her alleged faults. That would be quite a contradiction, don't you think? I am happy that they have forgiven each other but I don't think that I would be that forgiving of my mother. A cynical person could say that Tori is making up for the money. Who knows? Either way, my life certainly doesn't change!!!

I am happy to hear that because you could really see the hurt of Tori whenever she spoke publicly about the matter. Parents either do not understand or just do not care of the impact words or deeds have upon their children and visa-versa. At least now they can continue to heal while each are still alive and as family continue to raise Tory's lovely children.
