High Infidelity: Rachel Uchitel Joins Ranks of Other Women

The Other Woman occupies a scandalous place in history. Even though it takes two to tango, the Other Woman is usually the target of scorn and ridicule. High profile celebrities like Tiger Woods have it especially bad; their mistresses are often paraded around in the pages of the tabloids and on blogs, sometimes even with a scoring system comparing them all (Gawker!) We look at some of the more famous Other Women in recent history.

Rachel Uchitel
For some reason, maybe it's because she's the first one we learned about -- or maybe because she is the hottest -- that we consider Uchitel to be the prime Other Woman in the Tiger Woods case. Maybe it's because she's pretty high profile in her field, and dated celebs before, as well as Vegas and NYC club owner Jason Strauss. But maybe it's because, unlike the others, she's publicly been mum, and has opted to not embarrass him further by playing Tiger's taped messages to her for the world like Jaimee Grubbs.

Angelina Jolie

Before she was Ms. Pitt and one-half of Brangelina, she was the Other Woman, the so-called home-wrecker in America's perfect coupling of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. When Pitt and Aniston hooked up it made us like him more. Though beautiful, Aniston is more girl-next-door than sexy goddess. So when he went and shacked up with, yep, the sexy goddess, he slipped from perfect guy to jerkface for many. Jolie is the archetypical Other Woman: Impossibly beautiful, something of a bad girl, and sex-on-wheels. In other words: every woman's worst nightmare.

LeAnn Rimes
The country cutey just couldn't resist the charms of Eddie Cibrian on the set of their TV movie 'Northern Lights,' so they struck up a courtship in late 2008. Nevermind that both were married at the time. Oh well! They have since put their divorces in motion, at the same time Cibrian is fighting reports he's cheating on Rimes with ... another Other Woman. Drama!

Claire Danes
For a brief spell, Claire Danes -- not usually a fixture in the tabloids -- got the stink eye from all of Hollywood when she swiped Billy Crudup from his then-pregnant wife, Mary-Louise Parker in 2007. Seemingly very quickly bored, she soon dumped Crudup and his baggage for Hugh Dancy, who she's been with ever since. They were married this year in France.

Sienna Miller
Now, this is what we're looking for in the Other Woman. A tart with a "who-me?, who-cares?" attitude. A blonde vixen we can relate to; talented and pretty, with a good sense of fashion and a delicious sense of men. Let's take a look: first she dated Jude Law, and then, it turned out he had another woman (the nanny, wouldn't ya know it), and so she dumped him. Since then, she's dated Rhys Ifans and most notoriously, Balthazar Getty, who was very very very married (and now very, very, very separated). Turns out she wants to marry him, but she better look out -- for the Other Woman.

big deal, people cheat. been doing it for years, decades, centuries, yet every one acts like it's such a big deal. why does every one get all surprised and act like it's never been done before? it will always go on and on and on.... nothing surprising, nothing unusual, nothing out of the ordinary for people or even other animals. people ain't the only animals on this planet who cheat, ain't nothin' new. and it AIN'T news, i don't care who's doin' it.... (or to whom)....

Yeah, these women ruined Tiger Woody. The three mistresses made him cheat on his wife. The three women are to blame, oh poor Tiger.

I really don't care what Tiger Woods does in his personal life or professional one(hate golf). But what's funny to me is i saw a television crew interviewing 6 people on the street to get their opinion. 3 men and 3 women. All the men said the same thing "It's none of our business" all the women just tore him apart "How can he do that to his wife and kids" "I'm throughly disgusted by him" and "I hope she takes him for all he's got" lol talk about different viewpoints.

all these women that many people call celebrities are nothing but dirt. Black is cleaner to these women than reality, they are hookers and wreckers and you cannot call them ladies, the word is too refine for whom they are. The sad part is that most likely they have a great caring and decent mother and apparently they did not see their mother's virtues.

People cheat! What's new about it. Money, Power,Sex! So what makes this so different. With the world like it is today this doesn't surprise me. Why should it surprise others when all you see on tv, hear it in music and movies. The media is full of hypocrites. The film makers make movies, there are tv shows that have people cheating on their spouses. Now they are trying to dog out Tiger Woods. Frown upon it on one hand and profit from it on the other. I don't agree with what he did,Tiger was not the first person to cheat and If I had all the money in world he want be the last. Remember this "He without sin cast the first stone!"

Tiger the "private person" and Tiger "the golfer" has little to do with this. This isn't about privacy. It’s about consumer fraud, and truth in business and advertising. Tiger the "global brand" who's personal endorsement supposedly represents excellence, quality of the highest standard and superior judgment, and which has earned him nearly a billion dollars, has been used by the likes of Buick, AT&T, Tag-Huer and Nike to seduce us out of our money because of who and what both he and they wanted us to believe he was -- which turns out to be just as much a pretty foolish serial adulterer as a great golfer.

Oh this is certainly our business. Let Tiger Woods, professional athlete and family man, play his golf and tend to his family in private and earn the prize money he deserves. On those terms I'll leave him alone and even look forward to rooting for him on the course. But let him or any of his "business partners" try to imply to me ever again that he is something that he is not and I will drop both him and them faster than the panties on one of his golf circuit ho's.

Women cheat nearly as much as men do, this is a fact... yet women will always defend other women who cheat. They say things like "you can't help who you fall in love with" or "her needs weren't being met" or "she was lonely"

TV shows like Desperate Housewives, or movies like English Patient and Bridges of Madison County actually CELEBRATE women's infedelity... yet when man does the exact same thing, he's called every name in the book and women will actually encourage violence against the men.

So ladies, just drop the typical feminist hypocrisy.
Fact is this: if your man is happy with you, he won't cheat. If you want someone to blame for your man cheating, look in the mirror and stop the male sexist bashing.
