Tony Shalhoub's Name Spelled Wrong on Caricature

Tony Shalhoub unveiled his caricature in New York City at the Palm but there was something wrong with it.

If you look closely, the 'Monk' star's name is misspelled as Shaloub, without the "h."

We'll all miss Monk. The show's finale was very well done and tied up all the loose ends. Tony's very versatile, previous roles including Wings and MIB.
As for the drawing- sorry, but it doesn't capture him well at all. It's close, but missing something. It looks more like Julio Iglesias IMHO.

"Monk" always gave me something to smile about. I appreciated watching a creative production team at work. Thanks for the memories and the reruns. Once on vacation in Europe, I caught sight of a huge ad for "Monk" with Tony Shalhoub's likeness above a classy hotel in either Cannes or Nice. It made me a bit homesick, since I was not staying in a place that offered that program.

To Wanda; The reason the show ended is not enough people watched. There were a lot of devoted fans, but less each week. Sponsers will pay to show their stuff on the shows, but if not enough people are watching, they will pull their ads. Station programers won't keep a show running if the sponsers are leaving. Maybr Nick will pick it up, they seem to run a lot of juvi shows

I was a great fan of "Monk". I will certainly miss the show
and hope that it returns in a few years. The entire cast
was excellant but I prefer "Sharona".

This is not a characature it is more a painting. None of his features are exagerated. I was so sad to see Monk end. I hope to see Tony shaloub in another series or movie soon.

I don't think they did justice to some of the more handsome men of color. Only 1 name, really? What about Jamie Nieto? Anyway, the pics for women were also prejudice with only 1 woman of color again. Who does these polls? There is a wealth of beauty of both men and women of ethnic culture - it would be a more fair assessment if you had equal selections of both. Or are they still banned from the Actor's Union?
