Amy Adams Expecting a Baby

There's a baby on the way for actress Amy Adams and her fiance Darren Legallo, PEOPLE is reporting. The couple, who have been together for seven years, got engaged over the summer.

The 35-year-old Adams, who stunned audiences with her roles in 'Enchanted' and most recently in the Julia Childs-related film 'Julie & Julia' is set to appear in the romantic comedy 'Leap Year' in early January.

Legallo and Adams met in 2001 while they were both taking the same acting class.

Adams has twice been nominated for an Oscar. Last year, she scored a nomination for her supporting role in 'Doubt), and in 2006 she earned a nod in the same category for 'Junebug.

congrats to Amy and Darren so what if she conceived before marriage she's far from the first star to do so even some actual academy award winning actresses have two major examples being Elizabeth Taylor & Joanne Woodward though with Liz it was her third child daughter Liza with her third husband Michael Todd and with Woodward it her and Paul Newmans 1st child which she later tragically miscarried only to conceive their second five months or so later and have their first daughter Elinore Teressa in April 1959 and two more named Melissa Steward & Claire Olivia Followed over the next six or so years
