Rihanna was the guest musician on the latest episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' and while her hilarious appearance in a digital short with Andy Samberg was a highlight of our week, it was another sketch that gave us pause. Host Blake Lively played Elin Nordegren Woods in a segment lampooning the model's marriage to scandalized golfer Tiger Woods. The skit focused on allegations that Elin beat her husband with a golf club after learning of his infidelity. We think, had the genders been reversed, 'SNL' wouldn't make light of the potentially violent situation - and with Rihanna on board, we wonder if a domestic violence gag was in especially poor taste. I agree with cashman--it's funny. I also wonder why Popeater is broadcasting the skit all over the world if they find it so offensive. It's funny, but if you want to be "politically correct" instead of funny, you should not put it on your website. Popeater wants to make money on it (because it's funny), but not take the consequences.
Tiger Woods is a idiot! Did he really think he get away with this long term? Stupid...Stupid...Stupid. He should have thought about the consequences. Now his family has to pay for this dim-witted act.
Agreed.... nothing offensive, all in fun....
Elin, as Tiger's wife should have known that she was under-clubbed with a seven iron.
I agree America need to learn to take a Joke Lighten Up is right
I thought the skit on SNL was very funny! If Elin whipped Tiger's butt, then so be it! He deserves everything she does to him for cheating on her. He walks around like he is un-touchable and is some type of god. I'm glad he got knocked down a notch or two. She should have run him over!
Clearly the Woods' are in trouble. Intervention is important for both of their safety, and most importantly for those young children. Daily, those children learn -- what are they being taught?
I might be the only one who thinks this, but, when was the last time snl was funny? it was funny when they made actual jokes and didn't make light of things like domestic violence and pedophelia. even if this one was slightly funny it doesn't make it right. whats next? chris brown beats rihanna because she tells him to "Shut up and drive"? they go too far all of the time and its rarely funny.
Tiger Woods is fair game. The skit was funny but they could have done better.

It's pieces of crap like you who make it impossible for men to receive equal treatment in this country, especially in family and divorce court. DV against men is not funny. Maybe you just need to have your sorry a88 kicked by a female or is it happening to you already? My advice to you is to find where "whatever" female discarded your "nut-sack" and put it back where it belongs, or are you already wearing dresses now??
Agreed, he's another male who thinks he can have his cake and disrespect his marriage without consequences....but geez, it was FAR from "funny". And I stayed up to watch something funny! That was by far the most UN-funniest SNL i've seen in awhile!
ha ha, very funny, that's what you get' Cheeta Woods"!!!
I'm a big Tiger fan, but he screwed up and this is fair game. But this skit was long and not very funny. Better writers could of done a better job. I just haven't found SNL very funny in the last decade....so I don't watch it anymore. They really struggle at being funny.
Yes it could have, they did do a much better job with Jan Hooks and Phil Hartman as the Clintons.
SNL lost its relevance many years ago. nobody cares about what happens on SNL. most people who still bother to watch tune in for the phony news, and that's about it. the rest of it is crap.

For something that you say is "irrelevant", you show an interest still.
You must still be upset about SNL jumping the Obama kissing ship with that President of China skit. And...if it is so irrelevant, why do you care?
good thing opinions vary....yours is slanted to the left too much for me...lmao
SNL did not LOSE relevance. You can't lose something you NEVER had.
This was hilarious!! I don't see the offense. It's SNL for goodness sake!!
