PopEater Poll Results: How You Voted on the Tiger Scandal
Tiger Woods hasn't had the greatest week. Let's recap. In the early morning on the day after Thanksgiving, the golfer crashed his SUV and was sent to the hospital. Reports speculate that Woods and his wife,
Elin Nordegren, were fighting immediately prior, over a tabloid story that claimed Tiger was having an affair with celebrity nightclub promoter
Rachel Uchitel.
Uchitel denied the affair, but another woman stepped forward. Eventually, Tiger apologized to his wife and family for his "transgressions" on his Web site -- but more details on Woods' alleged sordid affairs keep coming to light, including the fact that Uchitel may have been lying for the superstar athlete.
But what do PopEater readers think of the situation?
Click inside to see how our audience weighed in.
· After Tiger apologized, we wondered if people were willing to forgive him. But, they weren't. Fifty-six percent of over 53K say they didn't accept what he had to say.
· However, our audience was more optimistic about his future career. According to 50 percent of voters, he can "absolutely" get out of this jam.
· What about his marriage to Elin Nordegren -- will the two of them stay together? The answer is mixed. Just over half of 9K think they will, but the rest don't think the couple will make it.
· Then we wondered what was more surprising -- David Letterman's admission of his affair or Tiger Woods' current scandal? The golfer's problems were more of a suprise to everyone -- 84 percent over over 29K chose Tiger.

I think everyone should just leave Tiger and his wife along. I between them and no one else. If everyone would mine there own busy and stay out of everyone else then things will work out for them. Plus, if she love him she will not leave him. I think what Tiger did was wrong but, he is human and things happen for a reason and no one know the reason except Tiger and his wife. So Tiger you are doing the right thing by not saying anything and anyone except your wife. Take care and I wish the best for your beautiful loving family. Love you Tiger.
These high flying people in sports a Hollywood throw their self at the these people. Marriage is no longer sacrid. Tiger is one of thousands that are doing the same thing. I don't think it is right but I have been there and done that as an Olympic boxer and had dozens of women.
Will I get in trouble. I am a 72 year old women, after almost 50 years of a wonderful marriage, my husband died of cancer. Now, right now, Tiger is the lonliest man on earth. True, self imposed, but,I meditated a little. In his younger years he never was away from his parents, then, and after, he was structured to train, train, play golf, play golf. Then, OK he married. A woman, too young for him, she was facinatet by him, but, was there the realy deep understanding? I do not think so. These
blank blank that offered their bodies to a man, in this case Tiger, he was a trophy. Should he have sad no? Probably. Would a lot of men have said no, when they presented themselves. I do not think so.

Perfect statement
If it is a man with integrity that values his family then he would say NO! Obviously that is not Tiger.
Well said!It is the wisdom of your years that gives you a true vision of the situation.
Very well said...
You mean Cheetah Woods?
This is primarily Woods' business, his Wife's, and God's. It's certainly none of mine.

You are SO RIGHT. And for those that condemn Tiger as a man with no integrity or values.......judge not. Usually when someone slams another for their transgressions, that person is guilty
of doing the same thing. Mind your own business.
I agree....the media will not let him alone because he is a private person...but that does not make him public fodder.
BS its not just his business. When he's flaunting himself to the world and endorsing products and raking in millions of dollars despite duping the entire world, excuse the hell out of me but that makes it everyone's business. That's a fact. No getting around it. No two-faced liars for me, no thanks.
When your gone from home Touring, what do U expect a gut 2 do ? He needs someone to lay around with. He didn't relize the problems he was starting until it all hit the fan on him. He learned an expensive lesson, he won't stray next time, his wife will B right there with him !!

Now when you hear on Sunday durning a golf tournament that Tiger is on the hunt, the other golfers will be wondering where the heck the wife is

Here's a guy they moved boulders for to win a golf tournament in Phoenix. The sports announcers had no problem with his cussing and temper tantrums during golf tournaments. All that hype about the greatest player ever and he may be just that, but anyone who watches Woods pose for the TV camera's during critical moments of a golf tournament realizes he's a drama queen who sells his sueaky clean image to an adoring public. Now that he's been exposed as a liar and a cheat maybe the media will change their tune.

He seems to have evolved into a real obsessive "Serial Player". No wonder he gave the press a cold shoulder and shunned them. He had some serious news to keep hidden.

Look at that expression on his face at the game in the picture above. Pure misery. That is what an affair will do to you. Turn your life upside down. Torn and distracted. He did it to himself. Too bad, at least his wife knew how to keep their pillow talk between the two of them and not broadcast it to the world.

Let any of us who hasn't made a mistake, throw the first stone! None of us are perfect; the question is, "What did he learn from this?"
