David Letterman to Tiger Woods: 'Stop Calling Me for Advice'

David Letterman used his personal expertise on sex scandals to pounce on Tiger Woods Monday night, but he made sure to drench his Tiger roast in irony.

"Boy, it looks like that Tiger Woods is having some trouble, huh?" began Letterman, contorting his face. He jokingly lamented that if the Woods scandal had happened months ago, he'd "have material for a year."

The 'Late Show' host is only months removed from admitting he's had multiple affairs with staffers. He peppered his monologue by asking Woods to "stop calling me for advice" on his growing sex scandal involving multiple alleged mistresses. Watch the video after the jump.

Letterman was back after a week of repeats, and he was able to tie in two stories he'd missed out on.

"President Obama is sending troops to Afghanistan," Letterman said. "Hell, he ought to be sending them to Tiger Woods' house."

Letterman later presented a Top 10 list on how Woods might improve his image, with Tom Hanks making a cameo to react to each entry. No. 1? "Blame Letterman"

He also asked the audience to clap if they thought Woods was a "jerk" and whether thought the same about him. There was clapping for each.

Letterman loves a sex scandal joke and has famously ribbed politicians like former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer and South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford.

It stinks , I do not know about letterman wife but tiger wife is a golddigger she should have taken the money and got a divorce if she had any class.

I do not know about letterman wife but tiger wife is hitting the jackpot and I say bleed him dry.

To Ann: You are so noble aren't you? A man cheats on his wife and embarrasses her with a slew a mistresses behind her back. And what's a wife to do? Get blamed as a golddiger. Excuse me miss nobody you would do it to!! I think she will eventually divorce him but why not get more money? You would do it to miss nobility. The difference between Letterman and Woods was that Letterman didn't do his sex scandal when he was married to his current wife. People are such hippocrates. You know why people do this? It's because they have power and money. And even if people who don't do it too. It's human nature..it's happened since we ever existed. If you had power and money you would do it to. Next time tell that to your elected politician. But Woods is a jerk and a punk though. He has all the money, a beatiful wife and what does he do he did this... He never should have married her. Letterman has no cause to crack jokes about ANYONE'S behaviour, let alone a fellow cheater. Why CBS doesn't dump him is beyond me. On the disgusting meter, both Letterman and Woods are at the very top. Elin would do well to take her children and leave. She will never be able to trust Woods again. I can't imagine what Earl Woods would make of all this.

Its pathetic that people think that Letterman is so cute, when in all realty he is nothing any better than the hooker on the street, nor is silly Tiger. At least the hooker is trying to make a living. These men are just plain pigs, and are not to be admired in any way.

Its todays world--A man has to be very different NOT to cheat. There just aren't many of these type of men left.
