'Idol' Alum Kimberley Locke Wants Diamond Ring for Christmas

'American Idol' season 2 contestant Kimberley Locke has one item on her Christmas list: a diamond ring. But she tells PopEater that it likely won't happen. "I don't think I'm going to get it, but I think that's a good thing. My boyfriend is like, 'I don't want to do it around the holidays. I want it to be your special day,'" Locke says. "I'm like 'I don't care when you do it. Just do it.'" Locke is dating the notoriously tough trainer Harvey Walden from VH1's 'Celebrity Fit Club'. Although she may not get her ring, Locke is more concerned about giving than receiving this holiday season, she tells PopEater at Marshalls & TJ Maxx's 'Carol-oke' contest in Bryant Park, which helped benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation.

"I know what it's like sometimes waking up on Christmas and not having a toy. It's not a very good feeling," Locke says."With the money [Toys for Tots] raise here, they're going to be able to provide toys for over 3,000 kids this year. That is fantastic."

In the meantime, Locke is teaming up with 'American Idol' judge and producer Randy Jackson to work on her fourth album. "Of all the judges, Randy is the one who always knew what was going on in my career," she reveals. "I admire him and what he has done in the business... I'm really looking forward to it."

She hopes to release her new single in January 2010.

I think that Randy Jackson would be a perfect fit to produce her 4th album. The other producers Kimberley Locke has been with on past albums were good, but didn't give her a distinctive sound. Her last albums were nice, but I'm ready to hear her next effort!
