Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus Meet The Queen

Two of America's pop queens met their match yesterday -- Queen Elizabeth II. The two performed as part of the Queens' Royal Variety Performance in London, UK's Sun reports. And in true fashion, Lady Gaga sported a red PVC suit and 20-foot cloak topped with a regal Elizabethan-style ruffle. Later when the two met, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly giggled when Lady Gaga curtsied and shook her hand. Miley Cyrus also performed, but she seemed more excited about meeting Lady Gaga than The Queen.

Cyrus sang her hit 'Party In The USA' for the British ruler as part of The Royal Variety Show, an event which benefited the Entertainment Artists' Benevolent Fund. Afterward, she wrote on her official Web site, "I met lady gaga!!!" and proceeded to repeat it more than 50 times.

During Lady Gaga's performance of 'Speechless,' she sat a top a swing suspended 30 feet in the air as she played a piano held up on giant stilts. According to UK's Daily Mirror, Lady Gaga's performance had to be toned down, and she was forced to drop a "suicide act" from her performance.

Lady Gaga admitted, "I wanted to do the suicide scene but was told it wouldn't be appropriate. I've also had to tone things down generally. But it doesn't matter because I'm a massive fan of the Queen. I was so excited and have even been practicing my curtsy."

Other performers on the event's bill were Bette Midler, 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke, Katherine Jenkins, Mika and Michael Buble.

Sooooo...the queen got to meet Lady Guy-Guy and Miley "I'm off my rocker" Cyrus...wow, the highlight of her royal career: two confused boobs, with one set that ain't real...oh! oh-OH-oh! LOL!

Actually, the revolution we fought had nothing to do with being anti-royality. There were folks who wanted to make Washington king. It's to his credit that he refused to consider such nonsense.

This article was written about Lady GaGa and Miley Cyrus. Why did President Obama have to be brought into it. It's like everyone is hoping for him to fail at one thing or another so the folks who know nohing about politics (his actual job) are just grasping at minute details and try to blow them out of proportion. It's idiotic.

That PVC outfit is actually really cool. I like her eye bling, too.

And, for all you people debating whether or not an American should bow to any queen, the answer is yes. Unless you want to look crude, classless, and all-around disrespectful, you should. It's a sign of respect. If you can't have at least respect for the Queen of England, then that's pretty sad. It's not like she's going to rule over you now.

Miley Cyrus. . Eh. She's, in my mind, just another generic Disney star like Hilary Duff. If she wants to be anything other than that, she'll need to really work for it, because the Disney label is hard to shake off. And she needs to drop the music - she's just not good at it. Personally, I think acting is more her thing than singing.

Lady Gaga is, in fact, a lady, so you know. Her real name is Stefani (a variant spelling of Stephanie) Joanne. I don't think that's a guy's name. Anything added down below was probably Photoshopped in by tabloids or magazines to perpetuate the rumors that she's a transexual. She's not. Maybe those rumors spring from her outrageous costumes and wardrobe, which are probably coveted by drag queens everywhere. I say that the girl's got guts and her music is fun. (I am NO fan of pop whatsoever, but Gaga's music is music I can dance and rave to, so I think that it's fun.) Gaga's spontaneous and basically weird in a good way.
