Jennifer Garner Lives Life at 'Two Extremes'

In the new issue of W, Jennifer Garner talks about being a working mother.

"I live my life at these two extremes. I'm either a full-time stay-at-home mom or a full-time actress," she tells the magazine.

The stunning actress also discusses her love of the 'Barefoot Contessa,' her husband Ben Affleck and whether or not she would work with him again.

She really loves Ina Garten's 'Barefoot Contessa:' "I tried to get on Ina's show. I tried to use my, well, you know...I say, use what you have to make the world better or for yourself! But eventually she just said, 'I'm sorry, I only use my real friends on the show.' I felt like, What are you saying? That we're not friends? I know everything about you!"

Her relationship with husband Ben Affleck: "We were together a year, and we just started breeding," she says. "We were like, 'Let's have a baby!"

They won't work together again anytime soon: "I think he's brilliant at what he does, but why rock the boat?" she says. "It works between us pretty well the way it is. I don't know if I want to go to work with him. I'd be like, 'Okay already, you got the shot. Let's go home!'"

I love Ina. She is who she is, take her or leave her and if you have no class, you will probably leave her. Thank God the network and her real fans see her as a skillful, low-key, classy lady who knows her stuff.

For the rest of you: Stay with the likes of Racheal Ray the motor mouth. I am sure you think she's "delish!"

I LOVE INA! She has taught me so much about cooking. I love her cookbooks.

I think she and Jeffery are so cute together. I just wish she would have me over to the house. I'd peel the veggies!

Have you ever noticed that all of Ina's friends are gay or Hamptons pretentious? She would do well to have Garner on.

If you think Ina is a bore, try the Wendy Williams show. She is so dumb and lame that she had to read from a script in front of her. Thinks she's still on radio, and she is so affected with those sleazy wigs and all. Take her off the air for sure. I could gag.

Ben Affleck is a terrible actor. I wouldn't work with him either, Jen. I guess she couldn't just say, "No way I'd work with him again! He sucks!" It would be a long time before she got some again.

Hands down Ina has the best recipes and techniques for everyday cooks. Whip about a few of her delicious dishes and be a cooking genius for a day with your friends and family! Jen should keep to herself unless she wants to reciprocate and have Ina join her on the set of one of Jen's blockbuster movies.

I agree, Ina Garten is boring, not into her show; BUT did you notice the remark that Jennifer Garner was going to use her celebrity to try and get on the show? She's the type who would use others to get what she wants, of course!! And the photos on this site, puhleez, she's never looked that good a day in her life. I'm from the same WV city she is and she was nothing noteworthy there and, in fact, was quick to point out that she's way above and beyond her "raising".
