Look Out, Matt Lauer -- George Might Be Sexing Up 'Good Morning America'

Morning Hunk-Off Between Lauer and Stephanopoulos

Waking up with that adorable, six-pack-baring Matt Lauer has been something that 5.62 million of us have been doing for a long, long time. However, with the expected announcement any day now that George Stephanopoulos will be joining 'Good Morning America,' your mornings are about to get a good deal hunkier.

"George joining the 'Good Morning America' team will give them the best chance of finally beating 'The Today Show,'" an insider said referring to the 1.26 million more viewers 'Today' currently has. "George is no fool. He knows the majority of the morning viewers are females and he's not above using a little sexual chemistry to tempt them over to ABC."

George, who is happily married to funny lady Ali Wentworth, has already been sweating it up at the gym to turn up the heat against Mr. Lauer, and "he will be working out a little harder now. Don't be surprised if that handsome smile of his gets a little whiter before his debut," laughed a source.

So, Matt ... you've been warned. We have been your morning hubby for a long time, so maybe a little competition will be healthy for our relationship after all.

Gwyneth Wants You to Do Some (Internal) Holiday Cleaning

Friends and family, Gwyneth Paltrow is concerned about your Christmas-time colon. So much so, that I hear the super-healthy Oscar winner is thinking of giving pals a holiday surprise in the form of Colon Hydrotherapy gift certificates this year. In the dark about colon hydrotherapy? To get to the bottom of it (ha ha!), a little investigation revealed it's when filtered water is introduced (see: pumped) into the colon to soften and loosen waste (see: poo) resulting in evacuation (see: #2). Apologies! Naughty But Nice is nothing if not scientifically informative.

Tracy Piper at M.A.R.C Holistic Center, who recently performed a colonic on 'The Tyra Banks Show' and is rumored to have provided services for Gwyneth herself, refused to confirm any of her clients. However, she did say: "It's the perfect holiday gift from a thoughtful friend. It costs $150 a session but will make you feel like a movie star."

If a clean colon means an Oscar-winning movie star, we expect Jennifer Aniston will be booking a week straight.

Tiger Beat: The Never-Ending Magazine Cycle

Unfortunately, I have more bad news for troubled Tiger Woods. Last week's People and Us Weekly magazine covers with the golf legend plastered all over were huge sellers. That means this story isn't going anywhere soon. "Once you sell that many magazines in one week, you're going to be on the covers again and again until you stop selling. It's simply demand and supply," an industry insider explained. "Tiger is the new Kate Gosselin, who broke the record by appearing on seven consecutive Us Weekly covers."

"If Tiger keeps selling like last week, he might break her record," my insider says.

Eight weeks of Tiger? I can't ... I'm begging you. Pick up a copy of Life & Style this week and show its cover girl Sandra Bullock some love. Together, we can stop this Tiger madness.
