Reese Witherspoon has apparently been a very good girl, because Santa Claus (aka Jake Gyllenhaal) is supposedly going to pop the question to his gal pal over the holidays, Naughty But Nice is exclusively reporting. Oh, how we love a feel-good holiday story! In non-lovebird news, the Playgirl spread featuring almost-Palin-son-in-law Levi Johnston apparently didn't get people all that aroused. That, plus some Angelina Jolie movie scoop after the jump!

Reese Ringing in Christmas With Bling?

Insiders tell me that the small ribbon-wrapped box under Reese Witherspoon's Christmas tree is bearing a big, fat diamond ring. "Jake is planning to pop the question over the holidays and couldn't be more excited," my friend -- who gave me the exclusive scoop two years ago that the couple were dating -- tells me.

Just days after a false rumor circulated that the cute couple had split, Jake apparently decided the time was right to settle down and buy the ring. "Her children love him, his family loves her and now it's time to make it official," my source says.

"Reese is a traditional sort of lady, which is one of the many things Jake adores about her, and Christmas is her favorite holiday."

Let's hope she says yes to becoming Mrs. Reese Gyllenhaal ... we think it has a nice ring to it! Congrats in advance, you crazy lovebirds!

Levi's Limp Sales

It seems that Levi Johnston's big old Playgirl.com reveal was a bit flaccid in sales department. "Nowhere near enough people paid the $19.95 to cover the reported $150,000 the fading brand paid the Alaskan hunk to go rogue," a magazine honcho tells me. Even Playgirl's rep, Daniel Nardicio, seemed to agree, telling me: "My goal was to position PG in the public's mind -- not so much sell subscriptions," which seems an odd business model to me ... unless they've miraculously figured out a way to convert public consciousness and media mentions into $20 bills.

Popcorn and 'Princess' for the Jolie Clan

Heading to the movies this weekend to see Disney's new 'Princess and the Frog' film? There's a chance you might be sitting next to the world's most famous mother, Angelina Jolie.

The megastar, who has four children of different ethnic backgrounds, "can't wait to take her children to see Disney's first black princess," a source said. "Her daughter Z (Zahara) loves playing princess around the house and has watched Brandy's TV version of the musical 'Cinderella' so many times that she knows all the words." Who knew our favorite butt-kicking action star was such a softie?
