Taylor Swift Bangs Out New Hairstyle

Taylor Swift abandoned her trademark curls for a night out in New York City, and her suddenly pin-straight hair highlighted new, fashionably shaggy bangs. Once we got over the shock of the 'Love Story' singer looking more like 'Gossip Girl' actress Taylor Momsen than ever before, we couldn't decide if Swift's new look is glam or glum. What do you think?

Taylor Twift recently won the honor of Favorite Female Celeb of the Year among PopEater readers, taking a whopping 34% of votes in a recent poll. We'll see if her edgy, new look keeps her at the top of fans' lists in 2010.

OMG i totally agree! her "accent" when she sings is soooo fake! she cant sing at all. did you see her on the CMA's. she fumbled her way through that whole song. thank god for DVR's....cause the fast forward feature got used when she sang the second time. her songs are all the same....the only fans who appeal to her are teens because all she writes about is teenage topics. she just needs to go away!

I think Taylor looks great with straight hair and bangs. She looked like "all forehead" before. I'm not a country music fan, but Taylor truly is a talented, humble and wholesome singer. I certainly hope fame doesn't ruin her, a la Britney Talentless Spears and Lindsay Lohan, to name a couple.

No, she really can't sing. I'm a voice teacher, and she can't hit high notes or low notes, she does not project, she does not use her diaphragm and she has no vibrato. She is always off key. Which part of this is good? lol.

No jealousy at all her, just education and musical knowledge.
