Taylor Swift Bangs Out New Hairstyle

Taylor Swift abandoned her trademark curls for a night out in New York City, and her suddenly pin-straight hair highlighted new, fashionably shaggy bangs. Once we got over the shock of the 'Love Story' singer looking more like 'Gossip Girl' actress Taylor Momsen than ever before, we couldn't decide if Swift's new look is glam or glum. What do you think?

Taylor Twift recently won the honor of Favorite Female Celeb of the Year among PopEater readers, taking a whopping 34% of votes in a recent poll. We'll see if her edgy, new look keeps her at the top of fans' lists in 2010.

I like Taylor Swift and all but the hair looks like that bad wig in her "You Belong With Me" music video. I really did prefer the curls.

Just can't understand how they the industry can market this girl as a Country Weatern Singer? Just don't see it, anyone can strum a guitar and put on a pair of western boots, but that doesn't make them a country western singer!

i honestly don't know if she can sing or not, but for the person who said she's talented because she won awards; that's absurd. the awards she won have more to do w/media hype, and the 'it girl' phenom. she can also kiss kanye wests ass for her recent rise in popularity. beyond that, i think she's hot, and MUCH better looking w/str8 hair.

i luv plain birds w/plain hair..pettite bodies, little to no makeup and modest atttitudes. curls look 'after makeover', or in other words 'phoney'. if you have to pay to have your hair done, you're not a natural beauty. i know if taylor is naturally curly, my point is blown, but i just prefer str8, natural hair on babes. earth mothers, and hippie chicks rule!!!

Taylor is so gorgeous in short hair that I see no reason why she should ever let it grow! Long hair is the refuge of slightly "less than beutiful" ladies, that think it will draw attention away from "other" places.

She bugs me for some reason,I watched her on crossroads on tv, and she seemed fake to me, and she was so unnatural on stage, like it was fake and forced....I really dont care for her, maybe she will get better when she gets older, she is really young

I know singers that sing at these shows with her, she sings with a tuner that is built in to the mic, a tuner sorts out the bad and cleans it up as it go through, like a filter, she can not sing at all and she is nothing to look at, I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT THAT HER DAD PAID MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR HER CONTRACT, NO LIE, IT PAID OFF BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT SHE IS TALENTED, SHE IS HORRIBLE LIVE AND EVEN THE OTHER COUNTRY SINGERS CANT STAND HER BECAUSE SHE IS A NO TALENT, AND WAS BOUGHT IN THE INDUSTRY.
