Here's what's steamin' today...Diane Sawyer – When Diane Sawyer was tapped to be co-anchor of 'Good Morning America' in 1999, the gig was only supposed to be temporary. More than a decade later, the morning TV queen has left the building. On her last show before taking over for Charles Gibson on 'ABC World News,' Sawyer put her tear ducts to good use as the crew looked back at a number of highlights from her 11 years on the job. To close out the show, producers brought out the 25 kids orphaned by the September 11 terrorist attacks whom Sawyer had followed since infancy. "Can we have a giant group hug," the host said as the credits rolled.
Michelle Duggar Emergency C-Section – If babies are buns, then Michlle Duggar is the most prolific baker in town. The TLC reality mommy gave birth to her 19th child Thursday night, a 1 lb., 6 oz. little thing named Josie Brooklyn. The baby was due in March, but gallbladder issues forced Michelle into early labor.

Kendra Wilkinson Baby – Another baby delivered via C-section in the news today. This one, extracted from Kendra Wilkinson of 'The Girls Next Door' fame, was a little larger than the last. Hank Randall Baskett IV weighed in at 9 .lbs., 5 oz., according to sources. The NFL daddy's "dad and his granfather were both named Hank, so it was very important to us to carry on the family tradition," Wilkinson told People.
Adrienne Bailon Leaked Photos – Cheetah Girl and former Disney Channel B-lister Adrienne Bailon has an image problem. Well, maybe she has two image problems. One, nobody knows who she is. Two, she's got a set of nearly-nude photos floating around the net. According to the 26-year-old entertainer, the pics, which were intended for boyfriend Rob Kardashian, were leaked after a thief snapped up her laptop. Many doubt this is the case, believing the pics are a stunt to bump Bailon into the public consciousness a la fellow Disney alum Vanessa Hudgens (see here for even more Disney scandals). If that's the case, the stunt is working.
Maria Belen Chapur – Say hello to the Sanford family homewrecker. In case you haven't been following, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford disappeared for nearly a week in June to spend time in Argentina with Chapur, who he described at the time as his "soul mate." Today Jenny Sanford, South Carolina's first lady, filed for divorce from the man who, as recently as yesterday, publicized his desire to reconcile.

Wondering if they are waiting for a Baby to die before they STOP having children. Scientifically, what are the consequences and implications for a woman her age to continue having children? Her 19 children need her. She may be risking her own life if she keeps having children. Who would help raise al the children she has now. Poor children if anything would happen to the mom.

I do not understand... the number of children you have does not determine if they live or not. They actually had a couple miscarriages when they first got married... and were devestated. Perhaps that is why they feel so blessed to have whatever, how ever many children God will bless them with.
I know people whose first child died...
Even if a baby doesn't die, the odds for birth defects increase as the mother's age increases. She's had 18 healthy kids and one that may have problems because of her desire to keep going. She and hubby may be willing to take care of a severely disabled child, but it's not all about them, or not supposed to be. The child's quality of life should be considered too. Everyone seems so focused on "well, they're not on welfare, they're paying for those kids themselves." Good for them, but there's more to raising a child than just having grocery money. For one, how many homeless, hungry, or troubled kids could they be helping with some of that money, except their loving concern doesn't seem to extend to any child not carrying their DNA. I, too, find it disturbing that the older kids have to care for the younger ones. What about having a childhood of their own? A woman should have as many kids as SHE can take care of, not as many as she can rope her other kids into taking care of. To me, they don't seem as much a "loving family," as they do a "build-it-yourself" cult.
Please do not speak from ignorance. This family, as many other religious families do, volunteer their time and do mission work. Msybe instead of spewing your "hate speech", you should try volunteering your time. Imagine redirecting your negative and cynical energy into something positive.

Now a poor little baby struggling to live! Very selfish and irresponsible for a couple who is suppose to be so "holy"!
Take this as a sign from God! Tie the tubes, put a cork in it, put ole JimBob in the shed; but for God's sake, stop the insanity!

My second child was only 3 lbs so it can happen at any birth number.
As long as they are not on welfare and caring for their own spiritually, financially, and healthily they can have as many kids as her body allows. Financially they are not in debt to anyone for anything including their home. Most of us only dream for that day.
