Judge Bans Jon Gosselin From Media Appearances

You won't be seeing a whole lot of Jon Gosselin on your TV screen.

A judge ordered the reality TV star father from making any appearances, Usmagazine.com reports.

The Maryland judge granted TLC a preliminary injunction keeping Gosselin from being in the media before the April. 19 trial.

"Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show,"TLC Chief Operating Office Edward Sabin said in court.

Afterward, TLC issued this statement. "The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly. Step one – getting the court to order Mr. Gosselin to comply with his contractual obligations – has been accomplished. Any further breaches going forward will be violations of a court order. We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches."

i agree that jon behaves poorly in public but kate does it just as much but she is able to do it in a way that we don't see it as easily as we see jon do it. on many of her last shows she trashed jon pretty good on camera saying things about him & dissing him. just her way of getting shots at him & still looking like the innocent victim here. they are BOTH at fault in this marriage & BOTH need to grow up & start acting like the adults they should be for THEIR kids. not only will the kids in time see how bad jon is behaving but they will see how she is dissing him as well.

Agreed. Amazing thing is that this loser doesn't even own his own public image. He sold it to TLC, cancelled his own show and now can't make public appearances because he sold his image. Jon what'll we do without you?

Both the Gosselins are ridiculous but TLC is out rageously disgusting for the law suit against the little man who actually broke up their money maker show. Like they care about their image while doing camera close-ups of crying children and fighting parents! Give me a break. TLC is as bad if not worse than the gossip hungry magazines and papparazzi. All about greed and money..the most honorable of family values. TLC is garbage.

TLC had every right to sue him-they don't have to care about anybody. It's a BUSINESS, he signed a contract. He knew the contract for YEARS, he breached it-he thought himself a "titan", [like a child who disobeys the rules] he had to be put on "time-out"..you go TLC..you're ok in my book..
