Joy Behar made her paycheck Thursday during a Tiger Woods-related discussion on 'The View,' where she used her gift of comedic wordplay to call one of the golfer's alleged mistresses a "hooker."
After Whoopi Goldberg referenced Rachel Uchitel in the growing Tiger scandal, the ladies began cross-talking before a ding! went off in Behar's mind: "Uchitel she's a hooker." Watch after the jump.
The zinger may have gone unnoticed, but Uchitel's super-attorney Gloria Allred was watching and promptly issued a statement slamming -- without naming -- Behar.
"This statement about Ms. Uchitel is false and defamatory and highly offensive to her," Allred said Thursday night (via EOnline.com). "Rachel is very upset by that statement which has been viewed and now read all around the world."
"This statement was very hurtful to Rachel because it is not true," she continued. "Even if the host said it in a joking way Rachel is not amused, because she values her reputation and her reputation has been damaged by this statement as it is completely false."
Uchitel, the first woman in the Woods affair mix, has been on a public relations tear this week. She defended her honor in OK! magazine, proclaiming "I'm not a whore. I'm not a tramp. I'm not an escort. I'm not stupid or a bimbo."
She continued: "People have called me homewrecker, gold-digger, tramp, whore. I make mistakes, but I'm not those things. I have very good qualities. When you're judged by the nation it's really difficult. It's horrible."

Agreed. And, the reason the shoe fits is because, unlike some "ordinary Joe", she can't claim that she didn't know he was married. Uchitel is a Ho. Jamie Grubbs, on the other hand, appears to just be a stupid bimbo. She said recently that she thought they would be together "just him and me". Huh? Grubbs knew he was married, too. So many nails being hit right on the head here. Any person that would knowingly engage in even so much as a one night stand, let alone an ongoing affair wold be classified as a whore, tramp, homewrecker, oh hell, name it. I was married to a woman for 16 years and hated her for about 12 of them. Even with that in mind, I never once cheated. Why? Morals, plain and simple. I loved my kid and that is why I stayed in that marriage. For no other reason than that, did I stick around. Once my daughter was old enough to understand my reasoning, I filed for a divorce, and have lived my life pretty much happily ever since. With that said, I go back to the old bit about those who cheat. In my mind they are worthless pieces of crap. Period. So it any of these women want to play the "I didn't know" card, let them, but a rose is still a rose. Even the stinking rose or garlic...
