After reports that Lindsay Lohan was heading to India to film a BBC documentary about child trafficking, she twittered, "Count your blessings.... Please try and do something to make a difference for others." According to UK's Daily Mail, the 'Mean Girls' star even claimed she saved 40 Indian children in just one day.Whether she's doing it out of the the kindness and charity in her heart (which we think is true) or simply as a PR stunt to tweak her "party girl" image (what others think), one thing is for sure: Lohan is out to make a difference.
And in another twitter message she wrote, "Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting when we can be changing the world one child at a time.... hope everyone can see that," Lohan added.
The star also added that the trip was the 'most amazing time of my life' and mentioned the work of Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childhood Movement), a charity which works against child trafficking. Among the places she has been, Lindsay visited the SANLAAP (women and children's charity) home in Kolkata and will also be visiting local hospitals to give toys to sick children.

It's plain lies. What did Lindsay do? Gave them intel about where children where being held or sold? or did she lead the raid in which the children were saved?
People must be mad to think that she just landed in India and magically saved 40 children. Its PR stunt in extremely poor taste and highly despicable!!!

Jesus said that when you give alms you don't blow a horn so everyone pays attention to you. Look at those political types: Sarah Palin posed in front of the stars and stripes with her hands posed for prayer. Newt Gingrich sheepishly admitted last year that when he spearheaded the impeachment-for-adultery case against Bill Clinton, he himself was cheating on HIS wife at the same time. Of course Bill is no angel himself. On the second day of the 1991 Gulf war a videotape was played on TV showing Saddam Hussein kneeling on a prayer rug. Ooooohhhh he's really a good pious Muslim, ain't he? NOT! I've seen it all so many times on TV and in real life. The real heroes don't look for attention with the good things they do, yet others give them their well-earned respect nonetheless. I saw Mother Theresa's funeral live on ABC-TV. It was attended by people of all beliefs - Christian, non-Christian, and every thing else - including atheists. An Islamic scholar said that Mother Theresa did "the will of God" and that "that there's no doubt today she is in Paradise". Then there's Desmond Tutu. He risked his life to bring down the totalitarian apartheid regime in South Africa by peaceful means. It happened as we well know. I could go on and on with more examples but the point is this: no one really plans to be a hero. You just do good things and notseek notoriety and the God who sees everything, secret or not, will dish out the rewards. Have a good day.

Lindsay Lohan's claim to fame is still that she was the "star" of Mean Girls??? Wasn't that movie made like quite a while ago? That first picture of her says it all. Plus, I don't think she did this "saving of 40 children in one day" as an altruistic gesture. She's a waste of space, and I frankly don't believe her.
