'Shaky' Brian Setzer Collapses at Concert

Rockabilly revivalist
Brian Setzer collapsed during a concert at a New Mexico casino Monday night after fans say the guitarist appeared unsteady,
KOB.com is reporting.
The Grammy winner was about two songs into his set when he walked off stage and collapsed. He was then rushed to a local hospital, but it's unclear which facility or whether he is still seeking treatment.
One concertgoer, Mike Anderson, told
RadarOnline.com that the former
Stray Cats frontman became visibly ill-looking 20 minutes into his show.
"Suddenly, he turned to his right and fell to his hands and knees before laying his guitar down on the stage and walking shakily away towards the right. We could see people at the side of the stage help him to the nearby stairway and he looked very shaken-up."
Setzer rose to fame in the Eighties with retro-greaser group Stray Cats, whose hits include 'Rock This Town' and the 'Stray Cat Strut.' The second chapter of his career began years later when he formed the 'The Brian Setzer Orchestra.' With that group, he has earned a trio of Grammys ('Jump Jive An' Wail' was huge) and has been nominated seven times.

Seen Brian in nashville in early 80's at cantrells on west end. This is before the STRAY CATS had ever been in recording studio. They were awesome, talented &3 of the nicest groups I've ever been around. Also seen them at GRAND OLE OPRY house in late 80's w/ BB KING & STEVIE RAY VAUGHN.Tell me that wasn't awesome? Best wishes Brian & get well soon. Steve

Mitch...you are officially a clueless moron. The next time you get sick, your mommie should have you tested for drugs. Right after she takes your temperature with the rectal thermometer.
Setzer is one of the top guitar players of our time. A great performer.

For those of u who don't know, Albuquerque is at a very high altitude, same as Denver and higher in certain areas. Many tourists get high altitude sickness when they are in the city. Mr. Setzer goes from city to city, climate to climate which is hard on the body...especially for a high energy rocker. Don't smear the poor guys name. He's exhausted.

So, Mr know-it-all Mitch, all rock stars are on drugs? Brian is 50 years old, did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, it could be his heart, or any of many other medical problems? If all rock stars are druggies, then I guess all men of the cloth must be pedophiles.

Too bad that someone would throw the musician = drug user thing out when the guy has an issue. Poster has no clue what they are spewing about. Guess sometimes people just suck.
